Chapter 3

Na Ri looked at her dad, then at her mother whose gaze was also fixed on her and then at her brother who was looking outside the window as if he was in a world of his own!

Here, such a serious talk about her life was going on and her older brother was drifting in a world of his own! This ticked her off.

'Oppa!', shouted Na Ri.

As Na Ri called out to him, he spared her a glance with a stupid look on his face.

'Yea. What!'

This angered Na Ri even more.

"Ha... forget it...",said Na Ri as she subsided her anger because she knew that she was just getting irritated because of the sudden change that happened in her reality.

"Ok ┐( ˘_˘)┌" Her brother shrugged his shoulders.

"Na Ri-ah~ you will have alot of fun at your new school! Make new friends and new memories!", said her mother trying to convince Na Ri.

" Yes. What your mother is saying is right. And... is you don't like it there.... You can go back to your old school! We won't say anything!", said her dad.

Both of the parents looked at Na Ri with puppy eyes.

"OK OK! I WILL THINK ABOUT IT!", said Na Ri as she stood up and ran upstairs.

She entered her room and immediately went to her balcony that welcomed her with a beautiful sunset in the evening. The sky was orange with many clouds in it. It seemed like the heaven had just dropped down.

Na Ri stood near the railing for a bit and then proceeded to look at the ring that she was wearing on the ring finger of her left hand. It was her wedding ring that was given to her when she turned thirteen and she never removed it no matter what.

"Ha..... This ring has already become a part of me even though my husband hasn't become a part of my life."

" I can't even recall how many times I put myself to sleep while thinking about his personality and appearance", said Na Ri as she chuckled.

After standing there for a few minutes, she gathered her thoughts and took a deep breath.

" OK! I will attend his school and get to know him better each day that we speak together! I'm sure we will be able to get along just well!!"

"NO!"

The sound echoed through the hallways of the Cha house.

"I will not accept this! So, you now want that girl to attend the same school as me!?", said Cha Min who was standing in the living room where his father and mother were also sitting.

"Son, she is YOUR WIFE!", said Cha Min's mother.

"I DO NOT THINK OF HER AS MY WIFE!!!!", shouted Cha Min.

There was silence in the room and his dad had a serious look on his face. He took out his phone from his pocket and proceeded to call someone.

As the receiver picked up the phone, he passed the phone to Cha Min.

Cha Min held the phone up to his ear.

"Hello?"

A frail voice emitted out of the speaker.

" Cha Min... Its grandpa."

Cha Min immediately turned his head to his parents because his grandfather was his weak spot.

Cha Min loved his grandfather.

So, he knew that now, they were trying to emotionally manipulate him.

"Yes, grandpa."

"I hear that you and Na Ri are going to attend rhe same school from now on."

" Aa..... well.... that.... grandpa I-"

" I am so happy, Cha Min-ah~ I have been waiting for this day for so long now!!!", said his grandfather.

" No grandpa! I don-"

" Treat her well, my boy! I am proud of you!!!"

" Aa.... He is too happy right now!!!! How can I break his little heart?", thought Cha Min as he listened to his excited grandfather.

"Yes... grandpa... I'll treat her well.", said Cha Min as be tightened his grip.

" That's the sprirt, my boy!!", said his grandfather and he hung the phone up.

" She may go to my school, but don't expect me to treat her any differently.", he thought.

Cha Min looked at bis parents and said, " Fine. We will attend school together. But I want to meet her first before that."
