“Did you bring everything?” I ask Lux as he checked everything at the last minute before nodding.
He was with a few of his friends who also had their mothers with them – I was quite familiar with them as I have gone to a few gatherings with them. The boys were so close and so were their mothers – which meant we’d meet up often.
“I wasn’t going to allow him to come if Lux hadn’t gone – I’m glad you allowed him to go,” Reina, the mother of Ronnan, remarked as she held her face.
I chuckled, “I had to ask Lux twice if he wanted to go – it was his choice.”
She looked at me and sighed, “Honestly, I trust your son more than I trust mine – I reckon if Lux isn’t there, my son will get in all sorts of troubles.”
“True, Lux is very mature for his age – I’m glad my son is friends with him. If they hadn’t become friends, my son would probably still refuse to study,” Jill, the mother of Dylan, said as I smiled.
