Chapter 76

“Promise me you’ll only use it for two hours,” I said seriously as Lux nodded vigorously. “I’ll be able to check it later, you can’t fool me, alright?” I reminded and he nodded as he went ahead and turned his new tablet on.

I stretched my arms out as I sat down at my table – arranging all my things as it has started getting messy again. I need to constantly clean my workplace if I want my productivity to maintain.

After quickly cleaning up, I looked over to Lux to see him focusing on whatever he was doing.

I suddenly remembered the last time he used his device to track his father down, and with Lux’s memories of his father temporarily gone – I’m not too sure what he’ll do this time.

I slowly start acting like I was cleaning up on the nightstand – trying to take a peek at whatever he was doing.

I sighed in relief as I saw he was just playing his favorite game, a square game or something – I’m not too updated on recent trends.
