“Mi-! I-I mean – darling!” I woke up hearing Walter’s voice calling out to me. I hold my head as I felt terrible pain emanating from the back of my head. I look around and everything was back to normal.
“Walter, what happened last night?” I seemed to have had a terrible nightmare but I can’t remember it clearly.
“Nothing happened last night. I just woke you up for your medicine,” he said and I ponder for a bit. “Maybe that’s why my head is hurting, I haven’t taken my medicine,” I mutter as I take the medicine from Walter.
“What were you dreaming about darling?” I smirked as I heard him call me confidently. “I don’t know but I’ve got a vague idea of what I dreamt about – maybe it was a passing nightmare,” I shrugged the thought off.
I look up and the light coming from the sun indicated it was way past my supposed wake-up time, “What time is it now?”
Walter turned to me before looking down to his watch, “It’s half past 9 in the morning right now, darling.”
