Chapter 55

I was dazed as the conversation with Asher earlier astonished me to the point I was stunned for hours. I barely managed to convince him to retreat after that.

When I was out of my dazed state – I was already inside Jaughnn’s private villa.

“What were you talking about with Asher earlier?” Jaughnn asked as we entered his main house. I only shook my head as I carried sleeping Lux with me.

“Let me carry him – you can go ahead and wash up,” he said as he motioned for a maid to come over.

Three maids came over to me, my eyes widened as their red luscious hair and similar faces were eerily familiar. However, I couldn’t put my finger into it as I let them lead me to the room where I was supposed to wash up in.

“This is the room, madame – we will also be assisting you with your bath,” the one in the middle said as they guided me inside the bathroom.
