My Husband Cheated On Me So I'm Marrying My Ex

“I’m sure she wasn’t feeling sorry when she’s all up on my husband last night!” When Alexandra finally married her childhood crush at the age of 25, she didn't expect that she would one day catch another woman in the arms of her husband while she hid in the bedroom closet. But there she was, anger, betrayal, and sadness washed over her all at once as she stared at her husband and the woman who had the same dark brown eyes and dark hair as her. They looked almost identical...? That same night, she stumbled onto the beach and before she knew it, she was sitting across the table from her high school ex, Caleb, looking down at the terms of their marriage contract that he drafted up hastily. Fuelled by anger and betrayal by the people she once loved, Alexandra knew she had to take things into her own hands. Together with Caleb, they plot her revenge. ---------------- “Let’s go,” Caleb demanded as he grabbed Alexandra by her wrist without a warning, pulling her away from the chaos and out of the ballroom in a matter of seconds while both Ethan and Hannah watched them leave with a smug smile on their faces. “Why are we the ones leaving?” Alexandra questioned, yanking her wrist out of his grasp as soon as they were out of their sight, just the two of them hidden behind a wall somewhere. Caleb let out a deep breath. “I have my reasons, Al. Trust me.” “Well, they can’t just -” “Hey, hey listen.” He was now looking down at her with both hands on her shoulders as she had her back pushed up against the wall, their faces only a few inches apart. “What?” A smirk etched itself onto his face. “I promise they will regret everything they had said earlier.” “How so?” “You’ll find out soon.”

Chapter 23: Deja vu

That familiar voice of Alexandra's sister rang in her ears the moment she walked through that door and her eyes landed on them.

"Get off of him now!" Hannah continued to shriek loudly as she dropped her bags onto the ground with a loud thud, startling them both.

Instinctively, without wasting another second, Alexandra immediately pushed herself off Ethan, standing back up on both her feet as she combed through her hair, adjusting it. At the same time, Ethan had also gotten up to sit on the couch this time.

Their eyes now met and Alexandra could see Hannah's face turned red from anger and the way rage was pulsing through every single vein in her body. Hannah had her fists clenched so tightly that they were starting to turn white.

Before Alexandra could even open her mouth to speak, she watched quietly with an incredulous look on her face as Ethan ran to Hannah's side, trying to grab onto her hand.
