"Liana, please leave me alone. I don't have the energy to quarrel with you right now." Zick rose off the bed and left the room.

Liana was furious. She clenched her hands into fists, her body shaking with rage. "I will not let my man think of that middle-class ugly girl," she muttered. "I'll have to do something to make him forget about her soon. I just hope wherever she is, she's already dead."

Mellisa stepped out of the bathroom after thirty minutes of getting ready. Maxwell had already prepared everything for her, from a new set of clothes to body lotion and all the necessary items for her bath.

"You look beautiful and fresh," Maxwell commented when his eyes fell on Melissa. "If you could just put on a smile, you'd look even more beautiful."
