The Lonely Moon

Jake Marlowe stood on the edge of a cliff, his eyes fixed on the full moon hanging low in the night sky. Its glowing light cast a haunting glow on his rugged features, accentuating the weariness etched into his face. He was the last of his kind, the last werewolf in the Moon Pack, he led half-humans and now, he was tired of living.

For centuries, Jake had been hunted and killed by humans who feared what he represented, moreso how he took away other wolves that lived between humans. He has alway been hunted also by the vampires who have always been a threat to him and his pack. He had witnessed the death and destruction caused by his own kind, and it weighed heavily on his conscience. He longed for peace, for an end to the never-ending cycle of violence.

One fateful night, as the moon reached its zenith, Jake's life took an unexpected turn. He crossed paths with a young woman named Phelan. She was unlike any woman he had ever met before. Her fiery spirit and unwavering strength intrigued him, and for the first time in ages, he felt a glimmer of hope.

Jake knew he had to be honest with Phelan about his true nature. He revealed his secret, To his surprise, Phelan accepted him and to be raised as his daughter without hesitation. She saw beyond the beast within and embraced all that he was.

Will Phelan be able to fight the Vampires who now became a threat to their pack?
