CHAPTER 88

"I've come to end things with you, Oliver." She dropped the bombshell and Oliver's eyes widened immediately.

He stepped back in shock.

"What did you just say? You fucking disappeared for two weeks and now you've showed up, you're ending things with me. Why?" He asked in a cracked voice as he felt his heart shattering into pieces.

"I am now married to Maverick, I am now the Luna on his pack so we need to reject each other. We can't be seeing each other anymore if now, I will be tagged as the Luna who cheats on her Alpha." 

Oliver's eyes grew watery, he balled his fist and suddenly punched the wall with an angry growl, it got cracked immediately.

"His father took the lady I love and his son is also doing the same!" He muttered silently, breathing heavily.

"I am sorry, we can't just be together anymore." 

Oliver moved closer to her and suddenly took her hands.

"I don't care if you both are married, that won't stop us from being together. I know you don't feel anything for Maverick. Don't do this to me Cynthia," he pleaded and she looked away. 

She yanked her hands off from his and stepped back.

"I have given you my word and I am not even supposed to be here. Take care of yourself," she spat and left but Oliver suddenly pulled her back and embraced her in a warm hug.

"I am okay sharing you with another man, I know you're with him because you want the Luna position which you have finally got. I am glad for having a smart lady like you, you would help me work my way into becoming the Alpha of Sharp Edges pack."

Cynthia instantly broke the hug after hearing Oliver's last statement.

"What nonsense are you talking about?"
