CHAPTER 85

"She is my sister," 

"There you go again, but she doesn't see you as her own sister. Whatever, I need to inform your mother that you're awake, she had been so worried and restless." He said and dashed out of the room.

I relaxed on my bed and took a deep breath.

In the next two minutes, the door or my room flung open revealing my mother and Harrison.

"My baby, I am so glad you're awake, I know you're a strong girl." She gushed and gave me a warm hug, I ended up smiling. 

"Of course I am, do not underestimate an Alpha." I said dramatically and they all laughed.

"You shouldn't take what your sister did to you to heart, don't hate her. I believe and really hope she will change for good. I hope the two of you can move well with each other and do things sisters do. I really wish all these meaningless fights and quarrels would end one day, it breaks me so much to see my two daughters have become mortal enemies." She muttered with a painful smile and I hugged her immediately.

I could feel the pain and sadness in her voice, she must be really unhappy and disturbed. Which mother won't be?

"Don't worry mother, I promise to grant your wishes, it's just a matter of time. Paulene would change soon, she just needed someone to study her and she needed love, care and attention. I have heard her countless times complains of how she is always cheated and feeling unloved, this might just be the reason for her violent nature."
