Chapter Nine

I collapse onto the bed of my room, my new home. Marcus collapse with me, both of us and the whole house are exhausted from all of the cleaning. We started off with main hall of the house that was filled with dead wolves from both my pack and the rouges.

There was blood all over the floor. After everyone cleaned up the house and burnt all the dead rouges outside we all sat at the dinning table which was in a huge room with a fire place. I sat at the head table obviously since I'm the alpha of this pack and Marcus sat at the other end of the table.

When we got our food thats when Doctor Henderson told me that every alpha needs a beta and explained to me how my beta will help me make decisions for the pack and help me take on all the pack stuff. Which leaves me looking half dead on my bed with my head burrowed deep in my pillow. I'm so exhausted I don't even want to think about who I'm going to make my beta. I met so many people over the few hours I hardly remember anyones names other than detective Luis. Marcus pulls me into him holding me. All i want to do is knock out and that is exactly what I did.

The next morning I wake up to a knock at the door. I groan as a protest to the interruption of my sleep. Instead of getting up I just ignore it hoping they would just disappear, but they didn't so they kept knocking.

"Ok ok geez come in!" I yell at the person at the door. Doctor Henderson cracks open the door.

"Hey sorry to wake you up, but I need the two of you downstairs in your office."

"Ok, give us ten minutes and we will be down." Doctor Henderson shuts the door and leaves. I roll over to find Marcus with slob rulling out of his mouth. I hold in a laugh and nudge him until he wakes up which took atleast ten tries and of him moaning and groaning and swapping my hand away, but he finally wakes up.

"Hey sleepy head, we have less than ten minutes now to get ready and go downstairs."

"Why, what time is it?"

"Its nine in the morning." Marcus looks at me then puts the covers back over his head.

"Oh come on you bear, Doctor Henderson needs us downstairs." I pull the covers off of him and strip to nothing and walk away into the bathroom, not looking to see if Marcus was following. Before I could step into the shower I feel Marcus hands on me pulling me into his naked body.

"Ok big boy, we gotta get ready so no funny business this moring." I say and Marcus pouts. I just smile and step into the shower with marcus behind me.

After we got ready we headed downstairs and into now my office where i comduct pack related issues. As we sit down I see its only doctor Henderson and Detective Luis here.

"Goodmorning Jenni and Marcus, I brought the two of you here to discuss who you would want to make your beta."

"Geez you sure give a girl enough time to think about it." I say in sarcasm

"Sorry but this pack went years without an alpha so as you can see theres a lot to be done around here now that we have one."

"Ok well since i hardly know detective Luis, I will just appoint you doctor Henderson as my beta."

"Ok now we have lots of paperwork..." Doctor Henderson was saying before Marcus interrupted him.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you and I know this pack has waited years for this, but Jenni has a few other important matters to handle at this time."

"What is more important then this?" Doctor Henderson asks.

"Jenni has to save a bunch of kidnapped teens from a warlock. Since Jenni has been in a coma for two weeks and she had to come into her wolf form and battle a bunch of rouges, she hasn't had the time to actually do anything about the teens and we can't waste any more time." I instantly feel panicked, worried, and horrible, because I for a second I actually forgot about the teens.

"Ok so what do you want to do, go back to that club?" I ask Marcus not wanting to waste anymore time.

"No, I have a witch for you to meet, she is going to help you come into your witch powers before we go any further into this. I will stay here and help out with your paperwork with doctor Henderson. Detective Luis, if I give you all the data I have on this matter would you be able to help track this warlock whereabouts?"

"Of course, that is my job." detective Luis says while smiling.

"Ok good Its settled then. I'm going to give this witch a call now and have her come here. Doctor Henderson could you gather all of your witch friends to come here as well and do a locator spell to find this one warlock please."

"I'm already on it, give me a few to contact all of them."

An hour later and the whole living room is filled with six witches not including me. Marcus introduces me to his witch friend Ellie who I already do not like considering she keeps giving Marcus flirtatious looks. Doesn't she know I'm the all powerful witch, I can just zap her ass out of this house even though I don't know how to do that yet.

I can though bite her head off in wolf form. I instantly shake her hand with an evil grin on my face. After that doctor Henderson introduced me to twin witches named Alyssa and Jalyssa, both of them have hazel Brown eyes with pitch black long silky hair. They look to be at least 5'1 foot tall. I instantly took a liking to them when they started talking to me as if we been friends for a long time. The next three witches were Jozeline, Amanda, and Haylee. All three had the natural witch look, Brown eyes, black hair, and a few freckles on their face. I wasn't too sure about those three, they kept giving me dirty looks but oh well. After I was introduced to everyone me and Ellie went outside and sat down at a bench near a lake to practice.

"What do you know how to do so far, what have your parents taught you when growing up?" I arched my left brow up at Ellie.

"Well for one my parents hid the fact that I was half witch and half wolf. Secondly they died before I even found out and thirdly I just found out two weeks ago from a girl who has been kidnapped and can only communicate with me from my visions. So with that said, I don't know a damn thing." I say while clasping my hands together and placing them on my lap. I dock my head to the side and look at her like she stupid.

"Alrighty then...well I guess we should start trying to get you to do the basics then, like raising an object from the ground with just your hands." Ellie suggest while smiling at me nervously.

"Ok, what should I do first in order to lift something up?"

"While I was growing up my parents taught me to close my eyes, concentrate on the object I wanted to lift and I would picture myself lifting it. Maybe you should the same, maybe that would work." I nod my head, turn around to walk over to the lake and lift my hand above fallen leaves. I closed my eyes and envisioned myself lifting the leafs. Getting lost in my meditation I barely heard a gasp coming from Ellie. I instantly opened my eyes to see a bunch of leafs surrounding me in a big circle.

At that moment all the other witches and Marcus comes out of the house to see what was going on. Not knowing how to let the leafs fall, I let my hand fall to the side of me and turn to look at everyone. Ellie looked at me with fear probably because she knows I can kick her ass when I learn more stuff. Marcus looked at me with love and awe, while the twins looked at me with awe and amazement, and the other three looked at me with jealousy and hate. Just fantastic, I'm surrounded by four people who don't like me already. I walk up to Ellie then.

"Anything else?"

"Yes I'm going to teach you some spells, which is going to be a lot harder to do than lifting objects from the ground." Ellie says with venom before turning around to walk away. Not liking the way she said that, I lift my right hand up, Ellies skirt then lifts all the way up till the point her underwear is showing. She quickly turns around to look at me.

"What? Must have been the air. It is pretty windy out today. I mean you should have known your skirt would have flipped up the way it just did." I say while shrugging and walked past her with a smirk. I turn around to see Marcus and the twins laughing hysterically.

"Right, lets just get on with this." Ellie says in anger. Ellie walks over to a tree bends down over a leaf and speaks in another language then flicks her hand up. Not sure what she wanted to do but nothing happened to that leaf. Ellie does it again and still nothing.

"Repeat this after me, maybe it will work for you instead." She admits. I just nod and bend down as well.

"Dico incendium accende. Now when you say this..." I cut her off by reciting what she said without any hand movement's and at once the leaf below me caught on fire. Before I could feel proud of myself, the fire quickly spread and got out of control. Ellie cursed and waved her hand and whispered something else in Latin and the fire disappeared. By this point the whole house is outside watching me.

"You need to learn how to control your magic when you summon it." Ellie tells me while rolling her eyes.

"Well isn't that what you are here for? To teach me all of that. Plus I wasn't trying to summon the fire, I was trying to practice the words you spoke. How was I supposed to know that the leaf would catch on fire nonetheless get out of control." I say while getting up and getting in her face while flames sparks from my fingers. I was getting real tired of this girl real quick.

First She flirts with my mate infront of me, then she gets mad at me at something I couldn't control and trying to out shine me all because I have the man she wants. As I get closer to her my whole body, specifically my fingers gets hotter and I can feel the flames about to burst from my hands. She quickly backs away from me with fear in her eyes. Marcus quickly gets in between me and Ellie. He whispers sweet nothings in my ear and I start to calm down leaving the flames behind. Then he quickly turns around to deal with Ellie.

"She's out of control, I was just trying to teach her a fire spell and the next thing I know she's trying to burn me alive." Ellie quickly tells Marcus. Before I could get mad again and defend myself Alyssa and Jalyssa get hold of my hands and back me away from her.

"Cut the shit Ellie, I know my women don't just lash out at someone for no reason. Which means you said something to her that set her off. The next time you want to lie on my girl is the next time I won't stop her from frying your ass. I called you here to help her come into her powers so how about you do your job." Marcus yells at Ellie, which instantly calms me down. I smile at the twins to let them know they can let go of me, but when I turned to them the looked worried and confused.

"What?" I ask them.

"Your eyes." They both said at the same time. I squint my eyes at them in confusion.

"What about my eyes?"

"When you almost threw your fire at Ellie, your eyes turnt orange and at the moment even though you seem to be calmed, your eyes are still orange." Alyssa says.

"You have a mirror on you?" I ask either of them. Jalyssa goes into her purse and brings out a small compact mirror and hand it to me. I take a look at my eyes and sure enough there is orange surrounding my green eyes.

"Is this norma? What does this mean?" I ask looking panicked.

"Well no its not normal. I mean it is for those who are meant to be the leader of our clan, but we haven't had a true leader in like twenty years. The witch whose eyes can turn to the color of fire, water, and air is meant to be the leader of the witch clan in its state."

"Are you telling me that I could be your leader because my eyes turned to the color of fire?"

"Its a possibility yes, but the problem is that Jozeline is our leader since we haven't had one in twenty years, she is our most strongest witch we had, before you that is. What I'm trying to say is, you would have to challenge her to take leadership back."

"Over my dead body. I'm not just going to let some girl who didn't even know what she was a day ago try and take my spot just because her eyes turned orange. We still don't know if her eyes can turn blue or grey yet. And even if they could, I refuse to lose to the likes of her." Jozeline says while giving me a dirty look. Looks like I'm going to have to fry her as well.

"Well you don't have a choice Jozeline. Her eyes changed to the color of fire. The chance of her eyes turning blue and grey are very high. You were only appointed leadership to hold the clan down till a true leader came." The twins say.

I agree with Jozeline, I refuse to let Jennifer become leader of this clan." Ellie, Amanda and Haylee say. All four girls joined hands, each repeating something in Latin. The next thing I know I'm being lifted in the air and my head gets pulled back from a invisible force. I struggle to lift my head back up before it ends up breaking and I die. I get so mad that my fingers spark, my body is in between heat, cold, and wind all at once.

I force my head up and look down at all four girls. I raise my right hand in the air and I trist my wrist. Jozeline, Amanda, haylee, and Ellie let go of each others hands as they fly off the ground and into a tree. As soon as they could get up, they looked at me in fear. All around them the wind blew crazy which made the clouds form into tornadoes. Fire surrounds all four girls in a circle and the lake rises up coming towards the girls to swallow them.

I'm still in the air probably from my own power. Before I could release my full power to finish off each girl a rock hits me in the face and I fall hard on the ground. I blink up to see wolves and witches all around me all giving me different looks of fear, amazement, and proud looks. Marcus comes over and helps me up and brings me into a big hug. Before he could turn around and yell at the other girls, Alyssa beat him to it.

"Since me and Jalyssa are both from the counsel we both appoint Jennifer as our new leader. You all seen it for yourselves that Jennifer's eyes turned orange, blue, and grey all at once. Those are the colors of a true leader. Those are the colors of a very powerful leader, once who has been lost for twenty years and now is reunited again.

Me and Jalyssa officially revoke all leadership from Jozeline and we reunite leadership to Jennifer" Alyssa yells out to the crowd. I look at Jozeline to see wind lifting from her. Once the wind left her it came to me feeling me all around. I instantly feel whole as if this is What was missing from my life this whole time. Samantha was right when she told me I was brought here for a reason.

"So as leader, what is the first thing your going to do Jenni?" Alyssa and Jalyssa both asked me. I look at Jozeline, Amanda, Ellie, and Haylee and smile at all four of them.

"I exile you four from this clan and from this state. You almost killed me, you would have killed me because you all were jealous of me. Hate has blinded the four of you and you all have lost the sight of what a leader were meant to be. Although I am new to this all but I know that's not how a leader should have behave. I finalise this exile.

You four need to be out of this state by tonight and I will know if you are still here." I say with a firm look. All four girls give me the dirtiest look before leaving the house. I then exhale and if Marcus wasn't holding me I would have collasped onto the ground. I am now the alpha of the black wolf clan and now I'm the leader of this witch clan and a thought came to me.

"What is the name of your clan?" I asked Alyssa.

"Well, we don't have a name for this clan but since your our true leader, you can now give this clan a name." I take a moment to think. I think of my father's name and of the wolf packs name. I think of my mother and it instantly comes to me.

"Both witch clan and wolf packs names will be renamed to Midnight Cresent Moon pack and clan. I want to unite wolves and witches together."
