My mother has left for breakfast first to let me get changed at my request but I'm all honesty I just needed a bit of time to think. My mind was clear yet I couldn't stop negative thoughts about Leon's skill and the past couple of months finding its way inside, The same helpless feeling trying to grab me once more although I didn't allow it.
'Calm' Like I said I was a new man and that meant I wouldn't let such emotions control me anymore.
I descended a large spiral staircase coming to the first floor before I headed toward a pair giant doors that were just open enough for one person to slip through. They were probably around twenty feet tall and I'm sure that only someone with mana would be able to push them open, It wasn't until I got closed did the sound of laughter and chatter reach my ears bringing a small smile to my face.
"He really did that!" I heard the familiar voice of Nessa as she giggle and my curiosity piqued.
"Yes he used to run to me every time a storm came around" My mother's voice of amusement followed instantly making my eyes go wide.
"He used to cry while clutching onto me" She added clearly enjoying herself making me start to panic.
"Mother stop it!" I quickly walked past the large door's with a voice filled with embarrassment as I tried to stop her.
The room was a very large dining area with a long table made out of wood that could seat at least a few dozen people, Although only six people were seated at the furthest end. At the head sat the Duchess who despite being in the capital still wore only stickers to cover her curvy body, Her large breasts basically resting on the table for all to see.
To her left was my father and then my mother who had changed wearing a shoulder less dress that failed to contain the large bosom that was bulging out. To her side was Nessa who seemed as if she was trying to get closer to my mother followed by Ella and Evelyn who sat across from them with amused expressions clearly enjoying my situation.
"Oh look who finally decided to join us," My mother teased with a smile while raising an eyebrow at me.
"I was just telling your fiancée about how scared of thunder you used to be" She added leaving me speechless as I glanced around for help that never came.
"Don't worry I think it's cute" Nessa giggled lightly as she used her hand to cover the smile she was trying to hide.
"You'll be the death of me" I muttered shaking my head at
my mother before I walked toward them.
"That bastard isn't here" I thought nothing the lack of a certain dark skinned man making my morning a little better.
There was an empty seat between Ella and Evelyn that seemed left open for me and I didn't hesitate to sit down. My gaze landed on an overflowing plate of fruit and pastries just in front that made my stomach rumble, I had grown quite the appetite after mother helped me relax this morning.
"Please stop trying to embarrass me Mother" I sighed giving my father a slight nod in greeting.
He nodded back while my mother smiled and took a bite of a strawberry. The sight of her plump lips stretching over the fruit made me subconsciously gulp and remember how amazing her lips felt against mine, I calmed myself down though since I knew now wasn't the time.
"Isn't that a mother's job?" She asked raising her eyebrow and smiling at me as she chewed the juicy fruit that left her lips glistening.
"Don't worry she didn't tell us anything too bad" Ella leaned in beside me as her breath warm brushed against my ear making me shiver.
"Good" I smiled at her slightly relieved after all I had many embarrassing memories just like any other child.
"You look beautiful" My eyes met Ella and she smiled gently at my words with bashful face before giving my cheek a soft kiss.
