What a way to start.
[3rd POV]
A giant explosion was created, the loud sound resounded, causing the ears to ring. The crowd does not need to be informed about the one responsible. They knew...
And they cheered madly. For the boy who saved heroes and beat villains even before enrolling to UA. The boy who fought alongside All Might to defeat a strong villain. The boy who was obviously stronger than any other students, by a large margin.
The rising star.
"ONE ATTACK PEOPLE!!!!" Present Mic exclaimed, his voice thick with excitement.
"ONE ATTACK IS ALL IT TAKES FOR HIM TO TAKE OUT THREE GROUPS!!"
"WAHHHHH!!!" The crowd erupted with equal, if not more excitement.
The strong are admired, but the strongest is worshiped. Bakugo was a rising star in this generation of heroes.
The smoke cleared to reveal 12 students lying on the ground. They were scuffed with some burns and injuries but only minors. They were quickly taken out of the arena by some sort of invisible force - probably telekinesis - which was quite a common yet useful quirk.
There are overall 14 groups, 3 are already down which leaves only 11 left.
Bakugo had his iconic arrogant smirk which conveys one message - I am the Main Character bitch.
His face was focused on the big screen for all to see as he mouthed these words, "Come at me if you dare extras!!!"
The crowd goes wild, they took pleasure on seeing the elite students of UA be so outmatched. And suffice to say that no other group approached Bakugo team, at least not openly.
The other students no longer stayed idle and tried to steal each others points as well.
Most had no strategy, the strong group together and the weak group together. There was simply no plan ,no versatility, just...monkey level IQ.
But the Class A and B - showing why they were the Hero course - had some decency to plan and strategize.
The Class A students especially were very good. Quickly stealing the points until all the others have 0 points.
With good coordination and better teamwork, Class A absolutely dominated the event. The audience were impressed and praised them. Saying they now know why they could survive the villain attack.
That was until Class B showed their true potential. They strike right at the moment when Class A lowered their guard - like a cold hearted snake that strikes when one least expected.
They stole points from Midoriya team and Toru team. The crowd erupted at the turn of event and the event entered a new phase.
The whole stadium was a stage where teams consisting of different people, different dreams, different minds come together for one goal, success.
Flashy quirks were thrown around. It was a battle of wit as much as it was power.
The pressure was high and the cost of blunder was still higher. The audience spectate, from the stadium and more from home, with bated breath.
"Kirishima, lets go." Bakugo said as he looked at the battle.
"Huh? But why? we can get first place if we just defend our points." Kirishima inquired, confused why they have to risk getting caught off guard if they joined the battle.
They have over a million point, so they just have to fend of opponents aiming for them and they would, without a doubt, be first place.
Bakugo was also aware of these, but he wanted to join in the exciting battle too!! He was craving to defeat someone.
And a part of himself wanted more points! It can`t hurt to have more, right?
But even before they joined - as if a summoning of his thoughts - an opponent appeared.
Bakugo couldn`t have been happier. But he appeared pissed
HIs opponent, that dared to even attempt going against him was none other than the pretty boy Shoto Todoroki and his team consisting of Ida, Kaminari and Momo.
The audacity.
Todoroki raised his arm and with it cluster of ice spikes, which made their way towards Bakugo.
From the ground they rise but in vain, for but with a quick flick of his hand Bakugo destroyed them all.
*Boom!*
The clash of attacks made the air grew chaotic and misty. Bakugo wasted no time, he does not like defending and preferred to be on the offence.
"Lets get them!!" Bakugo said to Kirishima.
"Yes!!" Kirishima connect his fist and sparks appear on his body, indicating that his body was now hard as steel. He charged to their opponent, like a bull, a red bull.
Todoroki send ice spikes and projectiles at the incoming Kirishma but they were blown away by Bakugo. Leaving them no other way then retreat.
The attackers became the attacked. The prey became the predator and Bakugo is still Bakugo. With the help of Ida, Todoroki and his team were able to outmaneuver Bakugo and Kirishima.
Bakugo and Todoroki exchanged attacks until the moisture in the air dry up and ground beneath them was covered in a thin layer of water.
Then Todoroki stopped, he yelled, "Kaminari NOW!!"
Momo made an insulated blanket and covered herself and her teamates. Kaminari point his arm at Bakugo`s direction and release shocking amount of electricity.
The lack of moisture in the air enable the electricity to travel without dissipating. The water became a great medium of conductor that amplified and concentrate the attack.
*Bzzz!*
Electricity, around 1300000 volts - more than enough to kill a normal man 500 times over - struck Bakugo and Kirishima. The stadium was illuminated in a bright yellow and the sound of a crashing lightning echoed.
*CRASH!!*
The water evaporated due to the heat and the people stood at their feet, amazed and horrified.
Kirishima was paralyzed, his hard skin was scuffed with burn marks, some dried blood and fresh blood trailed down his ear, nose and mouth. Indicating internal injury.
The other students who retreated because of Todoroki's and Bakugo's exchange were also still a little affected. And Kaminari was now brain dead, carried by Ida.
Amidst the chaos and fog, a peal of laughter sounded out, one that carried mockery and disdain.
"HAHAHAHA...That is it huh? Trash." Even amongst the thick fog, one could see red eyes, unbothered, if not amused.
The audience went crazy and cheered, causing Bakugo`s grin to grow to concerning degree. But so was Todoroki`s smile.
Bakugo`s expression froze as he felt something flying at him with absurd speed, almost worrying. His instincts flared, he did not see but he sensed the direction. Behind
His mind knew, and he saw it clearly - the crackle of green lightning and the green eye that met his as it flew by. Fast, faster then his body could react.
He thought the electric attack earlier failed to do damage. He was right and wrong. His body was not harmed nor injured, but it affected his nerve and muscle by a tiny bit. A small margin that stopped his body from reacting on time.
A mistake that could prove fatal.
His opponent of green came, but Bakugo felt no disturbance in the space around, almost as if his opponent was weightless.
He braced himself, expecting a new, additional sensation but he was met with the elimination of one, the losing of one sensation.
He can't feel it.
*Swoosh*
HIs opponent flew past him, without even touching Bakugo. He did not give pain nor damage but took something.
His headband.
"!!!"
*BOOOM!!!*
Explosion erupted, its shockwave clearing the fog and allowing sight. Bakugo immediately went after him.
"DEKU!!!!" he screamed in rage as he flew behind his tail.
They were fast, they cut through the atmosphere and the random students they pass fall on the ground.
They soon reached the other end of the stadium where Midoriya used the wall to stop his momentum and propel himself away. He was able to achieve such feat due to being literally weightless.
Bakugo on the other hand, crashed with a loud boom. His intention was to crush Midoriya on the wall, but he missed.
'That slimy bastard.'
The stadium shook and some people close by fall to the ground. The damage was gonna harm the audience so a force field materialize, blocking the shock and debris. This shield then spread throughout the arena, separating the battleground and the audience.
...
Midoriya was now back to his teammate, he was caught by Dark shadow - Tokoyami`s quirk.
He breathed heavily to try and stop his heart that wants to crawl out. It was close, too close.
...
The crowd watched with bathed breath and soon, A hand came out from the wall and pull the rest of its form out, it revealed Bakugo.
*Crumble*
Bakugo had a small smile and hungry eyes - his smile hinting that the situation was a small matter to him.
*WHOO!!*
The crowd cheered.
Todoroki`s team and Midoriya`s team huddle a little closer together.
Bakugo shot out from the wall, his feet never met the ground. He was fast, too fast to be followed with the naked eye.
Todoroki could do nothing but predict and erect thick ice pillars. Midoriya`s team took to the sky with the help of Ochako and Mei Hatsume.
*BOOM!!*
The ice pillars were nothing, and his struggle was futile. Their groups were blown apart.
They fell on the cold ground, in pain, defeated in but a single impulse.
...
Then Bakugo took to the sky, aiming for Midoriya. Midoriya leap down from his group and fall to meet him in the air while his teammates safely land.
"DETROIT SMASH!!"
Bakugo met the attack with a rocket punch. Their fist clash and the air grew chaotic. A hurricane spread from the core of their collision.
*BOOOM!!*
A ear splitting sound was heard. The audience cheered, their clothes fluttering with the wild wind.
Midoriya was shot away, losing the clash, Luckily his body was caught with an extended dark shadow. But his arm was messed up.
Bakugo, a bit winded, flew down and land on Kirishima`s shoulder. The boy was still unable to move due to the electricity.
"Wow." Kirishima muttered.
"30 SECONDS LEFT!!!" Present Mic announced, causing Bakugo to frown.
Bakugo then grab Kirishma`s hand and flew towards Midoriya with him. "WAI-!" he had no time to protest.
"Hope you can take a rough landing!!" Bakugo said.
Spinning, he threw Kirishima`s body towards Midoriya and his group. Kirishima could do nothing but scream in shock.
"To the side!!" Midoriya instructed his team, They barely avoided the body. Kirishima crash on the ground a bit distance behind them.
He immediately turned around in search of Bakugo, only to be met with a flash of yellow and red.
Midoriya had no time to react as a heandband was yanked from his neck. All he could do was watch in slow motion - the red eyes of Bakugo and his lips that mouthed the words.
"Nice try."

*Boom!*
The dust cleared to reveal a stunned and helpless Midoriya and a haughty Bakugo behind them on top of a crouching Krishima.
It was quiet until..
*BEEEP!!*
"THE SECOND EVENT IS OVER!!!"
*WOHHHHHHHHH!!!!*
And the people burst into maddening cheer and ovation. Astounded by the performance.

...
"That guy deserves power stones." One of the people on the crowd commented with a nod.
