29 Chapter : 27 Do amuse me a bit

(3rd POV)

"Hagakure's quirk does not give her any fighting capabilities.But we have to watch out for her sneaking up on us and touching the bomb" Midoriya shared his thoughts..

"So..what do you think we should do?" Todoroki asked, looking at Midoriya

"We need to focus on her first. She is the weakest yet the most threatening in this case." Midorya took a thinking pose as he said that..

"So, we should attack and try to capture her immediately the moment they came in..If we give her time to move around, it would be almost impossible to find her. Both of us has no quirk suitable to find her." Midoriya told Todoroki..

Midoriya thinks that this was the best course of action. Tooru was dangerous for them. With her invisibility, she could sneak past them and easily secure the bomb.

They need to take care of her before they completely lost her.

"After she is secured, we can try and stall Kacchan until the time is up." Midoriya finished.."Or try and capture him." Todoroki added..

"...yeah." Midoriya replied..not even convinced by his own words.

Its not that Midoriya was being negative about it..He was just being realistic, it has nothing to do with how much he admired or look up to Bakugo....maybe a little...

BUTT!!!

That is the hard truth, they could not beat Bakugo in a fair fight. He knows him since they were a young child..He knows clearly how strong and powerful Bakugo really is..

*Fwoosh* A chilling breeze blew swiftly and ice began covering the bomb..

It surrounded the bomb like a protective cocoon.."With this, Hagakure won't be able to secure the bomb so quickly without help even if she sneak past us." Todoroki let out a cold breath..

It would not be possible for Hagakure alone to break the Ice in the limitted time..

They would surely win this, they just needed to deal with Bakugo.

"Let the battle begin!!" They heard the loud shout, the voice belonged to All Might.

"Lets go and wait for them on the second floor. We must keep an eye on Hagakure, there is only a single path in the first and second floor. We need to catch her before she makes it into the third floor where there are different paths and room." Midoriya was about to leave but Todoroki asked him to stop.

"Wait, let me do this first." Todoroki put a his hand in one of the wall..He sigh out a chilling mist of air.

*Fcoosh* a thin layer of ice began forming on the wall. The ice began spreading, covering the whole room.

The icing continued spreading, like a ripple in a pond, until the whole building was covered in ice.

"Lets go.." Todoroki said with crisp voice as he takes his hand off the wall.

(3rd POV)

The buliding was 6 floor, with the bomb being located somewhere on the fifth floor.

There were no furniture or other stuff in the building, the walls of the building was hard concrete with square steel tiles layed on it.

Bakugo and Tooru immediately went in as they heard the announcement..

"Stay close to me, they would likely try to ambush us.." Bakugo told the girl as they moved inside..

They made their way inside...1 step, 2 step, 3 step...

Before they could even take the fifth step, the air freezes...A forbonding air filled the atmosphere before a layer of ice spread through the building.

The walls, the roof, the pilars, the ground...all of them were covered with a cold blanket of ice...

The floor was not made of floor anymore..

"Tch..annoying" Bakugo said as he found that his boots was stuck on the ground, the ice connected the soles of his boots with the ground.

The cold does not bother him at all as his power was always in his body..enhancing his already enhanced body..making his body double enhanced..heh

But the naked girl near him..not so much..

"Hah...its really cold isn't it?" Tooru asked with quivering voice as she hugs herself with her arms for some warmth. Her whole body shivered from the cold.

"Let me deal with this annoying thing." Bakugo yeeted his leg out from the grasp of the floor.

He went near a pillar and touch it with his right hand. He gathered his power on it and made resistance.

His hand produced a scorching heat and he let the heat travel through the entire building..melting all the ice.

But as a result, the building floor was flooded with a small layer of water.

"Hmm..still annoying" Bakugo hummed as he saw that Tooru's footprint leave a mark on the flooded floor.

Now it was easy for the opponents to tell her location..especially if the whole building is flooded like this which most likely is...

"Hagakure..listen close.." Bakugo went to the girl who was shaking off the water on her body like some kind of puppy.

Tooru listens close to the things Bakugo said to her...

(3rd POV)

"He melted it.." Todoroki muttered as he look at the small puddle of water in his raised palm.

"This is still an advantage..look.." Midoriya pointed towards the wet floor and their feet..

Todoroki just nodded as he saw that and they continued making thier way towards the second floor..

They reach the secod floor and decided to split and ambush the enemy from different direction.

Todoroki spots the opponents and prepared to attack..

"Wait..." Bakugo said as he stops Tooru from moving with a hand..

'Now!!' Todoroki thought to himself before his ice went towards the enemy..

Bakugo's eye was ready as he saw the approaching ice attack.

He quickly grab Tooru by the stomach, he ignored the soft feeling in his hand and jumped away..

The ice swallowed their previous location.."Midoriya told me much about you" a voice came just after

Todoroki came out from the corner and showed himself...His eyes locked on Bakugo.

"Stay behind me Hagakure" Bakugo went infront of her in a protective manner..

"But all that means nothing to me" Todoroki touched the groumd and he generated ice..The ice traveled on the ground swiftly before they try and cover Bakugo in their coldess..

Bakugo's hands ignited and he tried to fend off the ice but it was too much for him..The ice covered half of his body..

His legs wrapped by the cold ice..only his his right hand and a portion of his upper body was exposed.

"I am on a different league." Todoroki said coldly with eyes that seem to look at Bakugo like a pebble in his path.

"Hah." Bakugo grit his teeth..because of the cold, pain or because he was pissed remains a mystery.

His right hand grab a sharp spike of the ice, he breaks it and throw it towards Tooru.

Tooru also took off both her gloves and boots and became fully invisible..

But Todoroki was not worried as he still saw her foot mark on the floor. He could easily tell where she was..

And to make it even better, she was in a corner, she could not go anywhere except forward..

" Give up now..before it becomes painful" Todoroki asked Bakugo..but Bakugo just chuckled at the bold sentence.

"Hehehehahaha..." he chuckled darkly before he stopped..His eyes seem to be glowing red as he looked at Todoroki like a predator.

"And they call me the arrogant one.." His body covered in ice exploded..*Boom*

It blew away all the ice around him..dark smoke covered half his body..

Todoroki raised his arm to block the shockwave, and he looked at Bakugo with a pinch of suprise..

"Well anyways.." Bakugo showed a grin which made everyone watching, question whether Bakugo's team was the hero or Villain..

Bakugo's feet erupted in flames as he shot towards Todoroki..

Todoroki's eye widen as he saw Bakugo's speed. But years of training and his father using similar move when he spar against him came in to save him..

His instinct kicked in as he raised his arm..spikes of ice was raised with it..

A wall of spiky ice was formed infront of him..for proctecting him and to impale whoever was foolish enough to approach him..

But Bakugo does not stop. He just swiped his hand and his forearm exploded..the heat and shockwave shatter the ice wall like glass..

'Futuile attempts' Bakugo broke through and was now infront of Todoroki..

Todoroki has no time to react as the palm of Bakugo's right hand land a heavy blow in his chest..

But thats not all

Explosion erupted from his palm and Todoroki flew away from the force..

He summoned ice on instinct to land safely..Then, unimaginable pain assulted him.

His lungs felt like it was crushed and he gasps for air like a dying fish..he knelt down and clutch his chest in pain..

He coughed out small amount of blood, and he remembered what Midoriya said before...

He looked up and saw Bakugo walk out of the smoke..His face carrying a mocking smirk...

"Do amuse me a bit."
