Melissa

"Wow." Himiko gasped in amazement as she looked at the various structures and technology around the island.

They had just arrived on I-Island, the plane ride was pleasant and the island itself is amazing. Himiko wanted to explore the island, she was captivated by everything she saw. Yahiko wanted to go to their hotel room, he didn't want to run into the other students yet.

"Let's take a walk around the island, I want to see some more cool gadgets." Himiko said enthusiastically, she was already walking in a random direction as she said this. Yahiko sighed and chased after her, he just hoped that Himiko will lose interest.

"Yahiko."

"Hm? Yes Himiko?"

"Why did you want to come here?" Himiko asked suddenly, she already knew that Yahiko wouldn't want to go on vacation for no reason so there must be something here that has caught his interest.

"Something is going to happen during the I-Expo event, we will be able to expand our group soon." Yahiko replied.

"Will our new member be alive this time?"

"Nope."

Himiko didn't seem surprised by his answer, she simply held his hand and walked with him. As they walked around one of the cities on the island, they saw many pro heroes and a few of their classmates walking around.

"Isn't that Izuku? Who's that girl that he's with?" Himiko asked herself.

The girl standing next to Izuku had long wavy blonde hair that reaches her back and big blue eyes. Her face was a little round, she wears a white short-sleeved dress shirt with plaid cuffs, a large bow of the same design at her neck, and a dark raspberry pink waistcoat. Accompanying these are pale gray capri pants, under which are a pair of plaid pink socks as well as a pair of heeled brown boots. She also wears a wristwatch and pink, oval-framed glasses.

"That's Melissa Shield, daughter of David Shield. She's a student at the academy here, Aizawa told me that she wanted to see me. I'll talk to her later, let's go to the hotel now."

"Yahiko-kun? What are you doing here?" Izuku said out loud, making Melissa follow his line of sight.

"How did he see me in this crowded area?"

Himiko looked at Yahiko with an 'are you serious?' face.

"Your hair is orange, your eyes are purple, and you're covered in piercings, you stick out like a sore thumb." Himiko giggled to herself.

"Compared to the other people here, I'm not that strange looking." Yahiko mumbled to himself as he watched the two teenagers approach him.

Melissa extended her hand towards Yahiko, making him think that she wanted a handshake. He extended his own hand to meet her halfway but she suddenly reached for his face with both her hands. She cupped his pierced face and inspected him closely.

"What're you-"

"You're Yahiko? The Yahiko Bubaigawara, the one that won the sports festival?" Melissa said as she grabbed his arm and inspected the piercings that went through them.

"Yes, that's me. Please let go of-"

"What was the technology that you used during the sports festival? I don't see any signs of you modifying your own body with mechanical prosthetics, just these extreme piercings, but did you build your weapons yourself or do you have a acquaintance that builds them for you? Wait! Maybe these piercings in your arms act as some sort of activator?"

"Melissa-chan, please calm down!" Izuku said hurriedly, he saw that Himiko was about to commit mass genocide.

"Ah! I'm really sorry about that, I was just enthralled by the technology you used during the sports festival. I'm not usually like this but you really do have interesting technology. I'm Melissa Shield, it's nice to meet you." Melissa apologized quickly and looked at Yahiko with expectant eyes.

"H-hello Yahiko-kun." Izuku said quietly, he kept his head down and avoided eye contact. He still remembers what happened at the mall and was slightly traumatized.

"I would introduce myself but you already know my name so I'll just introduce my girlfriend here, her name is Himiko Toga." Yahiko made sure to put the word girlfriend in his sentence so he could appease Himiko and let Melissa know that she's putting her life on the line just by talking to him.

Melissa's face turned crimson after she heard him and quickly apologized to Himiko as well.

"A-anyway, how about I show you three around how the island? There's so much I can show you and we have a lot of things to discuss Bubaigawara-kun." Melissa suggested happily.

"Just call me Yahiko, now then, should we talk as we walk or do you want to show us around first?"

Izuku's face turned pale and Himiko was about to go super saiyan, she really did not like the fact that some random girl was sticking so closely to her Yahiko.

"Let's talk as we walk, do you want to see the academy? It's a wonderful place and a safe environment for aspiring scientists like myself. You can show me what type of technology you have when we get there, wait, you can actually show it to me right now. I-Island permits the use of quirks in public, as long as you don't use it to harm people of course. The same goes for most types of technology, like you can show-off something that can help people with unstable quirks. The red gauntlet on Midorya-kun's arm is a perfect example of this. Weaponry is different though, we have to make sure that the safety feature is on, the melee weapons must be far away from bystanders, and anything that is similar to a bomb must be given to I-Island security." Melissa explained.

"I see, I guess that I can't demonstrate most of my abilities to you then. My weaponry is more destructive than most of the gadgets you see here." Yahiko replied.

"What!? Surely you have technology besides weaponry, I just want to see how you modify yourself." Melissa quickly became depressed.

"Die!"

The four teenagers heard someone scream in distance, three of them already knew whose voice that belonged to. Izuku looked happy after he heard the voice, Melissa was confused, Yahiko and Himiko where visibly annoyed.

"Ka-chan! Let's go see him." Izuku exclaimed happily.

Before anyone could protest, Izuku ran towards Bakugo's voice.

"Who is Ka-chan?" Melissa asked Yahiko.

"Izuku's childhood 'friend', I'll show you my non-lethal technology if we leave right now."

"We should go see him if he's Midorya-kun's friend, especially since he looked so happy when he heard him." Melissa rejected Yahiko's suggestion and ran after Izuku.

"Let's just go to the hotel room, we have to prepare for the I-Expo event anyway." Himiko said as they walked towards the residential area.

"Where do you two think you're going!? Come back here you purple eyed freak! That little bloodsucker too!" Bakugo was running towards them with rage plastered all over his face. Izuku, Melissa, Momo, Shoto, Iida, Ochako, Denki, Jiro, and Eijiro were right behind him.

"We're going to our hotel room, we haven't put our baggage away yet and I don't want to carry these with me the entire time." Yahiko replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"W-wait, you two are g-going to share a room t-together?" Izuku became embarrassed for some reason.

"Yes, I did say that 'we' in my sentence, didn't I?" Yahiko was quickly getting agitated.

"Hold on for a second please, the I-Expo event is happening later tonight. I want to know if you guys want to go together as a group, we can meet up at the central tower. Make sure to dress nicely, my father will be there and I can't wait for you to meet him. He is also interested in the technology you used in the sports festival." Melissa asked before they could leave.

The other students agreed, even Bakugo and Shoto agreed to go. They looked over at Yahiko and Himiko expectantly, well, Bakugo was just glaring at them.

Himiko looked over at Yahiko, who was thinking about the pros and cons of going with them. Seeing that they were unsure if they wanted to go, Melissa quickly said,

"I'll be able to make some support items to help you with your quirks."

"...I don't need a support item but Himiko does, if you can make something that can improve her physical capabilities then I'll be there."

"Really! Something like that will be easy to make, I'll see you guys at the I-Expo event."
