20 Clash! All Might VS Sludgenator

"NO! YOU WILL BE THE ONE TO TELL THEM, NOT ME." Toshinori couldn't believe what he just said. Did he really plan on dying just like that?

Although there wasn't a way to save him, he still shouldn't give up and pray for a miracle.

All Might had two choices on his mind. He would either have to leave his friend to die and stop the villain, or leave the villain rampage through the city freely and try to save his friend while his chances of survival are close to none.

Inferno sighed and replied, "I am afraid that's not possible...Toshinori... Leave me... I can barely speak... I don't want my kids to see me in this state... It's pathetic..."

All Might shrinked into his frail form to conserve more energy and asked,

"What about your family then? Who will take care of them?"

"Yeah, most likely. Even though our family situation is a bit complicated, she should be able to help my son and daughter. Also, their idol is the All-Mighty Toshinori haha. I am sure they will recover after seeing you." Inferno replied.

"Damn it" Toshinori grit his teeth in frustration.

He closed his eyes and tried to think of the best plan to save him.

Moving him would be impossible, he would die from the loss of blood.

'I need to somehow get him to recovery girl. My only hope is that some heroes would arrive and carry him away.'

Sadly, he had just arrived in Japan and he didn't have his emergency phone with him yet. But from what he remembered, Inferno should have one.

"Inferno, give me your emergency phone, I am not about to abandon you here. Recovery girl might still save your life."

"Don't bother... I've lost too much blood and besides... I gave the emergency phone to my son... so that he could call for help. Isn't that why you are here?" Inferno asked in confusion.

Toshinori shook his head and said "I have received a call that a certain villain was rampaging through the city, but It never said anything about your son or you. It was directly from the U.A. Academy."

Inferno looked at him in disbelief, "How is that possible? Did something happen to my son?"

Toshinori sighed and said, "I am not quite sure, but right now, I don't have time to look for him, I am sorry." he looked in front of him and said, "We have bigger trouble now."

An unsightly object slowly restored itself together. Its form was smaller than it was before, probably because of Inferno's attacks. Its eyes locked onto Inferno full of hate. It was ready to pounce at him and devour him at any moment.

"Fire quirk user. Must kill... Must absorb! "

Slime slowly gathered his destroyed parts and regenerated itself back together.

"Seems like he found us... Toshinori be careful.. physical attacks don't work on him... but fire, works on him well... *Cough* Toshinori, I am sorry for everything..." Inferno squeezed out the last bit of his strength before he closed his eyes.

Toshinori looked at his friend's unmoving body and sighed in regret, "Don't worry my friend, I will find your son and help your family with everything I can."

'I can't get emotional here. Not in front of the enemy. Remember your master's words.'

'People need someone to protect them, someone, who will not be defeated. They need a hero to protect them with a smile. So no matter what you do, just smile and put those around you at ease just by them, looking at your ugly face haha.'

All Might smiled as his master told him, his heart was crying, but his face said otherwise.

He hugged his lifeless friend one more time before he expanded into his hero form with a brilliant smile. He took a deep breath and shouted at the monster.

"I DON'T USUALLY KILL THE VILLAINS. HEROES SHOULDN'T PUT THEMSELVES ON THE SAME LEVEL AS VILLAINS, BUT FOR WHAT YOU DID, FOR HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU KILLED, YOU ARE JUST A MONSTER AND YOU DESERVE DEATH. NOW PREPARE, FOR YOUR EXECUTION."

"Is that... All Might's voice?" Sludgenator mumbled.

Despite being in pieces, he could still recognize his voice without a problem.

All Might was his idol. He wanted to be like him, he wanted to be a hero, but his quirk wasn't lethal at that time and he didn't pass the entrance exam. He was devastated and he cut himself off from the rest of the world.

'Look at you now, All Might. Planning to kill a weak villain like me, how heroic.' he smiled as he enjoyed the attention of his idol.

All Might didn't have much time left, but he thought of a brilliant idea. He stretched out his fist and shouted "Detroit Smash!"

The monster was barely able to see his movement but still somehow sidestepped his attack, however, All Might anticipated that it would dodge and he predicted his movement. His fist made contact with his disgustingly slimy skin, but it didn't seem to do as much damage as he thought it would.

'He completely negated my attack. The Last time I hit him, he wasn't able to completely absorb my punch. Did his resistance go up since the last time we fought? It doesn't matter, I just need to hit him with everything I got!'

All Might powered himself up again and threw another punch, this time, the punch generated incredible heat wave which was an ability that directly countered Sludgenator.

Sludgenator dodged his attack but the heat from his fist still managed to burn a part of his body. "Argh!!"

'That was good, he let his guard down. He probably expected another tornado attack like last time, but little did he know that I could change the temperature of the wind around me.'

Sludgenator body was falling apart once again and he wasn't able to recover due to All Might's fire attack.

'Now is my chance'

He wanted to end it all in the next strike, but before he could move from his spot, a giant tentacle hand approached him from above.

All Might wasn't able to respond in time and received a direct hit from the burning tentacle hand.

"THAT STINGS! DON'T WORRY, I WILL REPAY YOU!"

All Might tore apart the tentacle and lunged towards the Sludgenator once again in an attempt to finish him off, but he surprised him by jumping away.

'Is he running away?'

The giant slime figure changed its form to something which resembled a humanoid figure and dashed away in a hurry. While Sludgenator looked like a monster, his transformation was still incomplete. He still had some human reasoning left and could speak, although not as much as before. Most monsters in this world couldn't communicate, but there were some who could. If Sludgenator manages to complete his transformation, he might become one of them.

"I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU!"

He left his friend's dead body on the ground and pursued the villain.

'I can't let him hurt anyone else. I will come for you later my friend.'

With this thought in his head, All Might gathered the last bit of his strength and raised his speed by tenfold. After a few seconds of chasing, they entered a populated area.

Luckily, Sludgenator did not attempt to attack civilians anymore.

None of the civilians could see the 2 blurry figures dashing on rooftops, because both of them were incredibly fast, far from human standards.
