third person pov: today during homeroom aizawa explains to the students that they'll be going to a forest lodge during summer break. however if you fail to pass the end of term test, then they'll be stuck in remedial school.

bakugou: this is so stupid
mineta: oh you girls better pass this thing
readers thoughts: (sighs) i have a lot of studying to do.............

readers thoughts: (frustrated) i've been studying for a long time and i can't stop to take a break because this exam is really important and i want to pass it..... i also don't have time to spend with shoto
(eventually y/n broke her pencil due to being so frustrated)
(y/n mother was currently baking cookies since she was done she brought a plate for y/n)
y/m: y/n, i finished baking the cookies
y/n: huh- (smiles tiredly) that's good.....
y/m: (places the cookies down on the table) y/n you've been studying for a long time, have you ever taken a break
y/n: uhm.... no mom
y/m: i see, you're going to study nonstop until you study hard enough to pass the exams.... (shakes head in disapproval) that's so terrible
y/n: (surprised) how!?
y/m: for starters you think to much over the most simple thing, you haven't left this spot for the past few days, and you need to train with me
y/n: mom i agree with you on the first two but the last one i'm not sure about... training with you
y/m: (questioning look) what's wrong with training with me
y/n: well i'm not sure if i can even call it training... it's more like posing- but terribly
flashback to the training session y/n had with her mother........
readers thoughts: how embarrassing i bet everyone thought we were crazy (since they were at the park training).....

y/m: (sighs) y/n when you were a little kid you would enjoy doing those moves with me
y/n: (smiles) but i'm not a little kid anymore (takes a cookie to eat) but it doesn't mean i won't do them- but it depends on "where". mmh, this is really good mom
y/m: (smiles then nods in understanding) thank you sweetheart it's a new recipe. but will you at least join me for one training session
y/n: i would (eats other half of cookie) love to
y/m: but promise me you'll take a break from studying
y/n: yes mom, i actually plan on relaxing right now
y/m: (smiles) glad, now we can our training
y/n: nope. (takes the plate of cookies and run upstairs)

(after y/n left)
y/m: (smiles) hm, she's right about not being a kid anymore, but she still acts like one yet mature. almost like me
author note: just a little mother and daughter moment since these appear less in the story

mr. aizawa: alright that's it for class today, there's only one week left before your final exams begin. i'm sure you're all studying constantly, right-
readers thoughts: i'm actually a little bit relieved about the final exams since i placed first along with momo-chan, so this shouldn't be a problem
continue mr. aizawa: don't forget to keep training the written exams only one element there's also the practical portion to worry about, good luck

mina and kaminari: (yells) we didn't have time to study because of the sports festival and the internships
tokoyami: it's true we haven't had very much free time lately
sato: we barely learned anything when we took our midterms so they didn't seem that hard but i'm kinda worried about these
(y/n joins conversation)
y/n: it's true we didn't learn anything but the best thing to do is to keep the things we did jotted down so you can remember them and eventually find them on the test (says while presenting her journal)
(scored 1rst in the exam along with momo)
mineta: there's someone ranked in the top ten, i'm not that concerned
mina and kaminari: you were ninth in the midterms (yells)
mina: i thought you were one of us (yells in dismay)
izuku: ashido kaminari you still have time to study, that we will all go to the training camp together
lida: and as class rep i have high hopes that we'll make u.a proud
todoroki: that's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class

momo: hey don't worry about it you two can catch up to speed the important topics if you want

jirou: i've been studying but could you guys help me out. i'm having trouble understanding quadratic
sero: tutor me please, classical japanese is killing me
mashirao: got room for one more i'm afraid that i'm falling behind a little
jirou, sero, mashirao: pretty please
y/n and momo: (eyes sparkling in joy) we would love too

momo: we can go to my house, i must have mother prepare the great hall press so we can set up it'll be the perfect spot

izuku: i'm kinda scared about the practical i have no idea what's it going to be
lida: hard to believe that they'll give us anything too crazy
izuku: the written exam questions will be separate stuff from class so i should at least be able to do those
readers thoughts: while izuku and lida are talking to each other i'm currently making notes on the lesson we learned...
(this caught the attention of tsuyu)
tsuyu: y/n-chan what are you writing
y/n: oh- i'm actually writing notes for the study session momo and i'll be doing at her house
(then the other join the conversation)
lida: kim-san what did you score in the midterms
y/n: uhm... i actually scored first along with momo since our scores were practically the same

ochako: (sighs) i should've studied with you
y/n: to actually be honest it was terrible studying ... it was to much work
todoroki: at least you passed

ochako: about the practicals, do you really think it's going to be that simple
izuku: it's driving me nuts i just want to know what they'll have us do

ochako: i'm not sure about that y/n-chan; the practical exams are a comprehensive test of everything that we learned this year
tsuyu: yep, and that's all we can get for mr. aizawa to tell us
y/n: it will also cover combat training and rescue training...
ochako: also basic training...so there might be a chance we'll be using our quirks (glances at y/n with a small smile)
izuku: so we can't just study but stay in great physical shape..

readers thoughts: i could already tell that this guys bad news, he's almost the cocky type of person.... trying to get into peoples heads

kaminari and mina: all right (yells)
kaminari: this will be super easy if it's just robots

y/n: i actually agree with soji, you also can't be sure that we're going against robots because one were in the hero course two the teachers wouldn't just let us fight robots they'll give us a challenge
soji: that's actually a good point

y/n: were only trying to help; you need to be at least prepared and ready for anything not by relying on other people's "information" about the exam which i highly doubt is true.
izuku thoughts: y/n right the teachers wouldn't just let us fight robots over and over again... i think they were meant for training other than the actual exam..- this is confusing what's actually the practical exam

y/n: (blushes slightly) sho-chan it's been a while since we actually spent time together due to our exams
todoroki: hm, that's true and i'm glad that were spending time with each other again my love
y/n: (blushes even more because of the nickname) yeah....
todoroki: so your going to tutor our friends along with yaoyorozu tomorrow
y/n: (smiles) yes, i don't want them missing out on training camp with the whole class plus it'll help them improve on the things they struggle with
todoroki: (laughs a bit)
y/n: (tilts head to the side curiously) what's so funny sho
todoroki: it's nothing serious my love, it's the fact i've never seen you this serious about studying. i'm also surprised that you passed the midterms with a high score along with yaoyorozu. to be honest i would've expected you to score the highest score in tenth place
y/n: (pouts while blushing) hey.... i'm not striving to be average plus, i want to pass not fail
(todoroki gets up from y/n lap and faces her)
todoroki: love i don't have a problem with that (caresses her cheek) i find it cute that you have an interest for studying

y/n: (blushing madly while stuttering) yes sho
third person pov: with that being said todoroki and y/n lean in for a passionate kiss, after they were done kissing todoroki was the first one to speak

todoroki: since we haven't spent much time with each other due to the exams i was wondering when the finals are over, would you want to go out with me

y/n: (smiles) i would love to go on a date with you after the practicals (then kisses his cheek causing him to blush a light shade of pink)
todoroki: (slightly blushing) where would you like to go
y/n: hmmmm, now that i think of this i've never met your brother and sister
todoroki: oh- so you want to visit them (tilting his head in curiosity)
y/n: (blushes slightly) uhm- yeah i would at least love to let them know that were in a relationship since my mother already knows we're together
todoroki: (smiles) that would actually be nice, my love
y/n: really...
todoroki: yes my love
y/n: (smiles a bit then frowns) will they like me....
