7: Deku

I froze, unable to move or think in that moment, starring at Bakugo. He was crouched beside his bed, which I was hiding under, and we couldn't break eye contact, no matter how awkward it was. "I, um-" Bakugo stuttered, his cheeks pink. I raised an eyebrow, because this side of him was a bit weird to me, as I'd never seen a shy or flustered Bakugo. He gripped my hands in his, and pulled me out from under the bed gently, then sat on the bed, and started looking anywhere but at me. I turned the opposite way, too, those words still in my mind. The first person the seeker finds, whoever that may be, will have to kiss the hider. I flushed, and buried my head in my hands, not wanting to look at Bakugo right now. But he peeled my hands from my face, and grabbed my chin, gently turning my face until it was directly in front of his. He gave a smirk, and leaned downward, stopping an inch from my face. For a moment, I panicked. I thought I wasn't ready. I thought I'd need more time. But, when Bakugo pressed his lips against mine, all my worries and thoughts melted away. I kissed him back, and after a few minutes, we both pulled away for air. "I guess I'll go find the others." Bakugo said, and in a flash, he was gone. Which left me to ponder over why he hadn't made a big deal about kissing me.
