why!!!

(King Tryton's castle, Enters Hermina)

Hermina is now seen in the gardens, where she normally plucks flowers for the decoration of the royal home. This was her normal duty as a the Queen's servant, she is responsible for the beauty decorations, plastered simultaneously around the walls of the castle, infact she is the royal gardener, no wonder Lix called her dirty.

Few minutes later, Lix is seen in the gardens, taking a walk with his normal posture, maundering with his slow and really gentle but lazy fit, which is really fun to watch, every Saunder strikes a smirk on the faces of who ever watches his movement. His left hand is seen pasted on his back waist, his right hand is seen in the pocket of his clean gold suite.

Hermina notices his presence, as he plucks one of her flowers, throws it on the floor, and steps on it, just to get on her nerves.

" Sorry, me thinks that was a weed" Lix said, holding a face of deception.

" Thou hast no need to say sorry,

For thy beauty is more pleasant than the dead plant." Hermina said with looks of love, hovering around her eyes, contagiously gazing at eachother for five seconds.

Lix gets annoyed and attempts to leave her premises, but he is being stopped by her continuous words of dote.

" Wait thy highness,

Full of pleasure mine heart seen,

Royalty I am not concerned of,

Loyalty, I am betrothed to,

Thy love I will forever seek,

Even if thy slay me,

O!! What a pleasure to die by the hands of the one thou loves

Thy love I will forever seek

O!! Great prince, please give me thine heart

I do not care of thy cruelty,

For the Lions heart can always be changed....." Hermina said as she was stopped by his palm which gave a signal that said, stop right at her face, but he was still looking away from her.

" I have heard enough,

Thou dote for me concerns me not,

For mine heart hast not found a place for thee

Stop hovering to get a soul that loves thee not,

Mine heart is for non,

I have tried enough to show thee hate,

But still thou comes to me with faith.

I will owe no man if by me thou becomes slayed.

So say I." Said Lix with a tormenting look on his face.

" No matter the words thou uses to shatter mine heart,

I will forever love thee, be indebt to thee, if I lose mine love for thee, It will be when mine life has been taken away from me.

Swear it! Swear to me that thee will love me not." Said Hermina.

" I swear to thee by cupids strongest bow,

By his best arrow with the golden head,

By the simplicity of Venus doves,

By the air given to us by mother Earth,

By nature, counted eight,

By the rain that killed for us witch,

In whose wand I beseech,

By my mother dear,

In whose tourment I fear,

And with all this I swear

That I will love thee not." Lix said then exits the premises, leaving Hermina in tears.

Few minutes later, Hermina is seen outside in the courtyard of queen Hermia, after she replied to the call of queen Hermia, she tries to cover up her tears , but the more she remembers the cruel words Prince Lix said to her, she leaves her tears to flow, her trial to hide her tears are pounded on by her emotions.

" Why hast thou tears on thy chin,

Who has been mean,

Who tampers on the kind heart of mine fairest maiden,

Speak for I shall have his head rolling in thy presence." Queen Hermia says.

" I wish thy passionate heart for me was that of thy son" Hermina replies.

As soon as Hermia hears this, she knew what it was all about, she knew it would be another work, from her dear son.

" He assaulted thine heart again with harsh words did he" Hermia said.

" Yes, and I wish thou takes not his head" Hermina says.

" Thou loveth him" said Hermia.

" Yet he despises me" said Hermina.

" Thou prays for him" said Hermia.

" Yet he curses me" said Hermina.

" The more thou love him" said Hermia

" The more he despises me" said Hermina

" Tell me why I should take not his head" said Hermia

" I believe he shall change" said Hermina

" Mighty is the Lions roar that never changes" Hermia counters.

" Yet when trained it knows his charges" Hermina counters.

" Hermina love him not" said Hermia

"My heart has been tied to his like a knot" Hermia counters.

Hermia becomes silent and worried after Hermina's last words, she then points out her hands and wiggles it, as a signal for her to leave. Hermina then bows and exit the area.

Hermia then calls one of her maids, and says to her " Go to punk tree, underneath mine son is seated, tell him his mother calls him, he should see me in an hour.

" Happy be thee,

I shall do as my queen instructed" the maid said.

( Enters maid 1- at punk tree)

" who is more beautiful than the sun,

whose rays appointed me,

Who I shall disappoint not

Queen of Queens

Woman amongst women

Thou presence hast been requested by the call of thy mother, she wants to see thee in an hour." Said the maid with such audacity.

"Of what do I owe this call

Or hast mine tourment been called for" Lix said, knowing what he was called for, but he just asked to clear his thoughts.

" Mine lips hast been sealed not to speak, or mine head will be on fanus's altar.

" Stand before me not,

For mine presence will obey at ones."

Said Lix, and immediately, the maid leaves.

Few hours later, Hermina was now on royal ornaments, she was now translated into a beautiful princess, just to see if the prince would love her that way, she was now dressed as a royal, but she is not royalty yet, she would soon be adopted into the family, as instructed by the queen, and after that, she would be a princess.

Lix enters his mother's courtyard, he notices Hermina, seated next to his mother on a royal stool, dressed with ornaments of royalty, with a tiara on her head, he gives a stain look on Hermina's face, she smiles, thinking Lix was already falling for her. He then kisses the back of his mother's palm, this was a gesture of respect.

Then he looks at Hermina and says

" O!! Foolish Hermina, hast thee been translated" Lix asked.

" Her wisdom is as fair as she,

Thee shall call her foolish not,

For she is as wise as the morning star,

Which gave light for us to see,

Hate her not,

For she loves thee,

I have translated her from maid to princess,

On whose trail thou must obey,

Curse her heart not,

Or thy head shall be on mine court,

So say I " said Hermia with an audacious tone.

Lix knew what this meant, he was now really uncomfortable, he began to feel inferior to Hermina, he knew that he wouldn't be able to command her around, or even play with her feelings, he knew how this would end up for him.

" Fair not thou art mother,

For thou hast downgraded my order,

I am now little to her,

O! Mother, what made thee to do so,

She is now a top notch,

Hermina, thus is all what thou always wanted,

Gold digger," said Lix.

Hermina is now really heart broken because of what Lix said to her, she becomes annoyed.

" Wrong thou art on that,

Thy cruelty to me made thy mother do such,

I have been translated from rags to gown,

From filth, to sweet smelling perfumes,

From maid to princess,

From ugliness to beauty,

To call on thy love,

But thee despises me still,

Is me that ugly,

Is mine presence cursed,

Though thou loves royalty,

I tried but failed loyalty,

Now I am royalty,

But still thou despises me,

How can I ?,

O!! How can I ? Call on thy love,

Am I a curse." Hermina says with tears rolling down her chin, as she stood up from her seated position and ran back inside with tears, she is now followed by maids who were going to calm her down. But Lix just stood there with a face of deceit.

" Hast thou no shame" Hermia said with rage on her face.

" O!! Pleas's mother," Lix said with annoyance as he rudely leaves his mother's sight. She calls him to come back, but he still kept going, not replying to his mother's call.

She is now seated all by herself, trying to think of what to do.

I think Lix is not just ready to love anyone, he shouldn't be forced or subjected to love Hermina , what do I say, a hateful person will always remain a hateful person, but I also think he should change, or would he. Change is constant, I believe when he changes, he would be just as good as being cruel, in being humble.
