Back in the hidden estate...

Ryujin Astera was sitting at his usual desk, looking at a set of recordings on a video orb. In the video, a boy manifesting Neko Clan traits and casting barrier magic appeared alongside the images of two girls with tattoos on their left hands. At his side, Atheon was kneeling with his head lowered in submission. He was waiting for his master to finish looking over his findings.

"So...That boy is the one who holds the origin...And it looks like he has already gathered two fragments."

"Yes, my lord," Atheon replied. He kept his gaze fixed on the ground as he continued to give his report. "We would never have known had he not managed to form a connection between the origin and the fragment. Luckily for us, it seems his body can't handle the power, and it nearly killed him."

Ryujin raised his eyebrows, "He's not dead?"

"No, my lord. He had been asleep in critical condition. The boy lives."

"...That's good."
