Hunting a Ruin Mimic

"Everyone, get over here right now!" Rune called. He wanted them to see what was about to happen with their own eyes. Soon, everyone had gathered around Rune, with even the mercenaries led by Shiro joining them.

Gallow stomped his feet and began to complain as he darted on over. "What's the big idea, Brother? Things were just getting good."

Meanwhile, the mercenary leader looked at Rune and frowned. "Why would you stop us? It's defenses are down. Now is the time to strike."

Rune shook his head and directed them both to look closely at one of the nearby ruin fragments. "See that? Something is about to happen, and whether or not I'm right will change how we choose to conduct this battle."

"Luna put a barrier over us, and be sure to maintain the one surrounding the town. It is about to happen."
