The Ark dropped out of hyperspace, and the crew was immediately greeted by a chaotic scene. Lyran Prime, a once proud and fiercely independent planet known for its formidable warriors, was under siege. The sky above the planet was thick with Empire warships, blotting out the stars. Below, the sprawling cities were alight with the fires of battle, and the planetary defense forces were struggling to hold the line against the relentless onslaught of droids and soldiers.
"Status report," Ethan barked as he strode onto the bridge, the tension in the room palpable. Prella was at his side, her hand resting on the hilt of her Radiansaber, her face tight with concentration.
Mira's hands flew across the controls, scanning the battlefield ahead. "It's bad, Captain. The Empire's fleet has the planet surrounded. The Lyrans are putting up a hell of a fight, but they're outnumbered at least five to one."
