In the newly merged world, there are three categories of power- Superhumans, Mutants, and Awakeners. The researchers did human experiments to find the reason behind the awakening. They used death row and high-level criminals to perform the experimental trials. This is what they found out...

The Superhumans and Mutants categories can not awaken because their bodies have already unlocked their latent abilities. It's either through natural genetic mutation or through other means. In short, their body doesn't have enough space to contain another power source.

However, Awakeners are completely the opposite of Superhumans and Mutants. Only a regular human can awaken. It's different from the other categories because awakening doesn't cause genetic mutation. It's neither a scientific nor natural phenomenon. An awakener can not mutate. They can not gain other powers through scientific or unnatural phenomena.

No matter what the researchers tried, they couldn't find the reason behind the awakening. Moreover, nothing can detect an awakened human unless they are using their abilities. And once they stop using their abilities, none can differentiate them from a regular human.

Well, that's the short gist of what I know. Now the real problem is me. Why did I awaken twice? Did I awaken first and then become a mutant later? Or was I always a mutant and awakened later? If I am an awakened human, why do I have mutant abilities?

I realized that this thing calling itself a System is an intelligent being like a human or an AI. And if anyone has an answer, it's the System. But the thing is, I don't know anything about it other than it speaks and helps me in certain situations, like a security guard. I was so happy with my power that it completely slipped out of my mind.

"Hey, System. What are you?" I ask.

Oh, great, just the answer I was looking for. My headache subsided a bit, and man, I am thirsty as hell. I need some water asap. I look around the room... There it is. A glass of water for me on the table beside the bed. I grabbed the glass and gulped down the water.

Huh? What's this? I am still thirsty... What the hell is going on? My throat... Kuggg! My throat hurts. I feel like I am lying in the middle of a desert, dying of thirst. Damn it! I can't feel my tongue.

Wha...? This weird feeling again, just like that time in the mall when that freak attacked. Why is everything red?

The door opened. I can't see anything. A veil of red color is blocking my vision. "Thirsty..." I mutter with great difficulty. I can't even feel my damn mouth.

"Are you alright?" Professor asks me with a calm expression. He isn't using his wheelchair anymore. Looks like my power did work on his body. With this, I learned one thing, my Q&Q permanently works on other humans just like it works on my body. And its effect is permanent.

"I am fine, as you can see. Who is she?" I say while looking at the sleeping girl.

"She is Rogue. She is a special case... You see, she can't have direct human contact due to her mutant ability. But it seems her power didn't work on you," answers Professor X.

"Oh! Ok. Good. I won't pry... Not my problem as long as she doesn't touch my sister," I say.

We went to another room, leaving Rogue in Emma Frost's care. Professor X called a student and asked her to help my sister get familiarized with the school. Then, once again, we were sitting before each other in his office.

"I see you can walk. Hank said your spinal cord was ruptured, and you won't be able to walk again. But I guess you have your ways," says Professor X.

"I need your help, Professor..." I explained everything that happened in the mall after Emma Frost's arrival. "... That's all I remember. I want to know what exactly happened in there and what is Subject 0X?"

"Let me in..." Professor X says after a few minutes of silence.

"This is where you fought that experimental subject," says Professor X. This time, he is standing beside me.

The blue mutant dashed toward Emma Frost, ignoring me and Jenny. But she quickly threw a pale blue beam toward the freak that bounced off its body and struck the wall. But it pushed the mutant out of the shop. This bastard looks like an anti-Emma Frost weapon. It came prepared to kill her.

"I will hold him. Run when I give the signal," says Emma Frost while huffing in exhaustion.

I can tell that her injuries are critical from her expression. Jenny was still unconscious on the floor. While I am crouching on the floor, grabbing my head.

The mutant freak dashed once again. But this time, his target is me. Emma Frost used her diamond body once again and threw herself before me, trying to defend us.

[Baaam!] Both of them clashed.

"Arggg!!!" Emma Frost yells. She is holding her ground while slowly pushing the mutant back. But all she could do was delay the freak and buy some time.

At that exact moment, the two tentacles on the mutant's shoulders rushed toward Jenny at a blinding speed.

Rarrrrrrwwwrrr!!!!!

Suddenly, the mutant fell to the floor and began to scream as violet flames burst out from inside his body.

"How dare you hurt my Jenny?"

"Burn in the eternal flames of VOID and repent your sins for eternity... Eternal Void..."

What the hell is this power? I am stunned, and so is Professor X. The mutant turned to ash in mere seconds before our eyes. Then I fell unconscious on the floor.

Later, the X- Men team arrived and rescued everyone...

"Phoenix Force?! No... It's even darker than the Phoenix Force..." says Professor X as he looks toward me. For the first time... I saw a troubled look on his usually calm face.

"No. Not Phoenix Force..." I reply.

Now, I have enough information. With this destructive power... I won't have to worry about anyone. I clench my fist with a smile. Finally, things are looking good for me. Power of sex and destruction... What more can a man want?
