Baal vs Levi

Before yall complain about this chapter bc if I was you I would too lmao but let me explain.

Martial arts or swordsmanship is something that you can't just progress to go even further and further, at least not in this fic. Baal's experience or fighting experience if you will is limited to Killian's fight style. Don't forget that my MC assassinated the angels, not go up to their faces and fight them. They were also rly weak.

While Levi, let's say that he got buffed and is much stronger since Baal and Levi sparred often. I'll stop here and If I forget anything I'll post it next chapter.

I repeat! This is not a nerf.

Also, I am not good at making fights.

"Oi, Levi," I called out.

"You had the same thoughts?"

We both smile at each other, "Let's fight!"

I raised my hands amongst the crowd and shouted, "My friend and I are going to be the first ones to fight if you guys don't mind."

Everyone looked at me and then around each other to see the crowd's response. Once no one said anything, Levi and I took that as an 'okay' and went to the middle.

The crowd backed up and made a box around us and gave us appropriate space.

I let my grimoire levitate in the air and flipped toward a page.

[Abyssal Katana]

I put my hands in the grimoire and the grimoire ripples like water.

Baal's grimoire was pitch black; nothing was on it. No threads, no marks, no rips, no details. It was just pitch black. The only difference you can see is the white pages. However, it looks like if you stared at the grimoire for a long time, you might never come back. The aura around the grimoire wasn't black like other things around me. On the contrary, it was golden with some black, purple, and red specks in it.

Whoosh

A pitch-black katana was in my hands, and it seemed that if one looked at it for a while, they would never escape. Everyone was focused on the katana.

Someone in the crowd muttered, "Abyss."

Everyone came out of their stupor and realized that they were getting lost in the darkness without even knowing.

However, for Baal, only a sigh came out of his mouth, "It is always black." I muttered. I think I have an affinity for black colors since I look really good with them.

During the training time, A spell appeared in my grimoire, and it was the katana spell. When I first took it out, I was ecstatic but then I laughed a bit since it was black like all my things.

Levi stepped up his grimoire opened and turned to a page.

Levi's grimoire had yellow lightning strikes on it kind of together picturing two wings and it looked like the one on Levi's cloak when he first came to this world. The grimoire also has a dark gray foggy aura with some crackling lightning in it sometimes. It looks like a storm.

[Double Lightning Swords]

Two lightning swords appeared in Levi's hands. If anyone from his world were to see his swords, then they would have noticed that they looked exactly like the swords they use to kill titans.

We both stay 15 feet away from each other with our swords in our hands.

Everyone around felt nervous like there was a big battle about to commence.

I tighten the grip on my katana and grinned at Levi.

Likewise, with some differences, Levi gripped both his swords and slightly smile at me but that smile held some competitiveness.

I bend my back a little bit forward and then...

BOOM!

The battle has started!

Everyone saw Levi and Baal disappear for a second.

KRKKKRR

The sound between the Abyssal katana and the Double lightning swords was incredibly weird and sounded distorted but no one cared about that.

"They disappeared!"

"Who are they?!"

"I saw that they came to the exam together with three others."

"It was those foreigners. They all came together. All of them are monsters!"

The clash between Baal's and Levi's swords lasted less than a second but to other people, it lasted longer.

Unlike most people who would back off on their first clash to get used to their opponent's strength, Baal and Levi just swung their swords at each other again.

KRKKKRRKK!

With that distorted noise came with many others but people didn't pay attention to it.

Another clash happens but Baal dropped his katana and dodged the incoming lightning sword at him.

The grimoire was right next to Baal, and he took out another [Abyssal Katana] and swiped at Levi's head.

Levi ducked and used his left sword to slash at Baal's stomach and Baal took a step back and struck downwards. Levi used his two swords to block that strike and got pinned to the ground.

Levi used his right leg to sweep Baal's leg, but Baal just lifted his leg to avoid it. Levi, taking the momentarily chance when Baal's right leg was in the air, spat out lightning at his face.

Baal barely turned his head, but his cheek got scraped. Levi, taking the chance tried to back away but not before Baal threw his sword at Levi to which Levi also avoided it but his left arm got scratched.

"Let's stop playing shall we," Baal said provocatively.

Levi looked at his shallow wound and then Baal, "All right, fine." Levi cracked his neck and lightning began to crackle around Levi.

Baal just cracked his fingers and smiled. A black aura twirled around Baal like a snake.

"Vanished!" A random person exclaimed.

"Why are they trying so hard?" Hori asked.

"You didn't know?" Hanabi questioned.

"What?"

Hanabi smiled, "They have always wanted to fight each other. They have a rivalry for a reason that I do not know but," Hanabi paused, and her smile turned into a gentle one, "They are truly good friends."

With each clash, the surroundings got destroyed.

Finral looked extremely nervous, "Shouldn't we stop them before they bring down the place?!"

Yami just looked at the battle happening under him and then looked towards the Golden Dawn Squad Captain, William Vangeance.

'Is he not going to do anything or is he just planning on watching?' Yami thought.

William was watching this and told his subordinates to not interfere, "If the stadium collapses, so be it. It's not like anyone is going to die from it and we will protect them."

William continued watching the battle before them.

Levi's speed was incredible but Baal's eyes also followed Levi but a few injuries happened since Levi's speed was fast.

Baal couldn't stop every sword that Levi came at him with, so he used Abyss energy to solidify and protect himself wherever he was going to be hit.

Baal also used the snake-like black energy to attack like a spider's limb.

Levi just used his swords to block most of Baal's katana but since his opponent was Baal, a few injuries were inevitable.

Though if anyone from Levi's world were to see his expression right now, they would think that Levi had his body taken over.

Levi's current expression looked incredibly tense but not the kind of tense that he would have fighting against Titans. He had a tense expression that came from a good battle.

He also looked free. Like he didn't have to think about the people he has failed, the people that are looking up to him to kill Titans and protect humanity.

He had a smile on his face that looked humane and like he was having fun, not one that he would have while shouldering humanity.

'If I wasn't invited to this group chat, I wouldn't feel like this. I wasn't invited to this group chat, I wouldn't me my current... friends. If I wasn't invited to this group chat, I wouldn't have met this fool. If I wasn't invited to this group chat....'

KRARKKKK

Swords clashed, fists connected, legs hit. Magic exploded.

"Hahaha! Come on Levi! You always said you could beat me if we fought. This is not any of those group chat games that you won. I am going to win." Baal said with a huge smile on his face that showed how much fun he is having.

A smile is shown on Levi's face, ' I wouldn't have met this fool, my best friend.'

"Don't get cocky Baal, next thing you know I would use your face to wipe our house floor back in Hage."

"Ho Ho. Oh really?! We will see about that." Levi's face tensioned.

Baal disappeared and reappeared right next to Levi and swung his katana with much force.

Levi quickly blocked it with one sword but was sent flying across the stadium crashing into a lot of people.

Baal let the sword rest on his shoulder and grinned, "You got to work harder if you can beat me Levi hahaha."

Levi who was stuck in the wall broke out and stood up. He patted the dust off himself and his shoulders. The lightning swords in his hands disappeared and he raised his hands, "I'm done." He walked to the rest of the group chat members and leaned against a wall that was still standing.

Baal just clicked his tongue, "Whatever." The black energy around Baal and the katana disappeared and Baal went back to his group chat members and talked with them and Levi.

The group chat members just ignored the amount of dropped chins around them and continued talking.

A random person picked himself up and said in a distant voice, "U-u-um, what?"

Sorry if I couldn't make the fight more enjoyable as I am still very very inexperienced in writing fights, but I tried my best Haha. Hopefully, I would get better as I continue to write.
