He was feeling a bit better after he found Anna, but he was still very curious to know where Anna had taken him.

He was holding hands with Hannah and juna while walking through the biggest and most important city in his duchy.

Tears of joy escaped Annas' eyes as she remembered the scene when they met.

It always makes her happy whenever she thinks about it. She wouldn't have known what might have happened to her if Alan didn't take her in that day. She didn't know what else she could do to repay him. she still felt guilty for not feeling Alan some of her past...

"Th... Thank you Alan for...."

Alan place his fingers on her lips before she could say anything further. He wiped her tears away.

"I know I know don't cry... " Alan flashed a loving smile as he caressed her fluffy cheeks.

Anna quickly wiped away the traces of her tears and flashed a happy smile.

'This is enough...' To know that Alan cares about her raised her happiness meter to the max.

Alan walked around looking at various shops. The city had the topmost quality of every product, but it was still nothing compared to the capital. That's what he heard from his parts and Anna every time he mentions he wanted to buy something. They would suggest going to the capital to get them.

It had everything that you find in a city, It had a church, the city hall, a restaurant and...

Alan noticed something different from the usual, he saw warriors going in and out of a place. It was a large building, he looked up "Adventures Guild?"

"It's where people who have trained exchange money for completing the missions." Anna continued "Mostly nobles post their missions and the rewards in the guild. Anyone can complete them and get their reward."

Alan walked into the place, it had two counters. One for choosing the missions and the other for getting your rewards after completion.

Like every other Adventure guild, we see in anime. So don't make me explain this stuff...

All the people there had their weapons strapped to their sides or their backs.

They were mostly commoners who took the missions. They needed to risk their lives to fill their stomachs.

Alan walked towards the mission board and looked at the missions.

[Find my cat, it is black and named Pinky] Reward -2 gold coins.

These there the easy and less risky missions posted on one board. Alan moved to the next one...

[Bring lionscub] reward -20 gold

"How may I help you, sir?" A beautiful middle-aged woman spoke in a neutral tone with a warm smile on her face.

Alan scanned her up and down. "I was just looking around this place."

"Huh? Are you here for the first time?"

"...yes" Alan answered with a weary smile.

"Oh, ok This is a guild. You can take missions after registering your details on the counter over there" The woman spoke in the same tone.

"I said leave me alone!!" An alarming voice was heard.

Alan turned quickly, he found a woman screaming at a bunch of men. Her face was covered revealing her hazel green eyes.

"Give Me My Money" She spoke in a cold tone gripping her sword, she was in a withdrawing position.

Hahhaha

The group of men just laughed at her with a haughty look glued to their faces.

"Do you think you can beat us with your mana circle"

A man who stood in the centre of the group spoke with a smirk on his face. He was huge, with muscles screaming out of his shirt.

'He must be their leader' Alan thought to himself.

The woman drew her sword out and stood in an attacking position. Her stance was good compared.

"Oh... Hehe, you got guts." The man walked toward the woman and placed her sword on his neck "...do it" he spoke with a sly smile on his face.

She narrowed her brows in frustration. Her sword trembled for a sec...

She took her sword back.

All the other adventurers just stood there without helping the women. Even the workers in the guild didn't bother to go to her rescue.

"You shouldn't treat women like that" Alan walked towards the group.

The women's eyes widened in surprise when she saw Alan.

"Huh, who are you? Get out of her cute boy." He continued "Go play with your mama. This isn't a place-"

"Say that again..."

Anna had her knife on his Adam's apple.

All the men stepped away in fear.

"S-she is from the duke's house..." A man among them screamed.

All the maids from the carter house had a special badge on them. It had the lightning symbol representing the Zeus clan.

All the people who were busy with their own business gathered around when they heard that someone from the carter house was present.

They were gossiping among themselves.

They were wondering why would a maid from the Zeus clan interfere in a trifling matter among commoners.

Yes, it was true. Problems like this happen very often during the adventures.

'The strong rule over the weak' was not something exclusive to the nobles. This happens everywhere... Everywhere where someone is stronger than the other.
