"Zomidirasten postinolom kaktirosnovija" The person was making weird hand movements and then a weird circle appeared right in front of my eyes
After about 3 seconds I received a system message
[Host has been given a blessing by an unknown magician]
[Host's intelligence and mana and magic defense have all risen by 1]
[Host has gained the ability to speak all languages in the multiverse]
I really badly wanted to shriek but I knew I shouldn't show any weird behavior, they have no reason to use a spell to kill me, and I was very happy about these sudden buffs especially the language thing which I hadn't thought of
"It seems that where you are from they don't have a mage good enough for that spell, we did get some weird reports from our radar, I guess you must be a fugitive, either way it doesn't matter we would be happy to take you in, I'm Sero this is David and the one who cast a blessing on you is Lorey, don't mind her she is a bit shy" The one at the front said some kind words that I did not expect, but then again they did go through the trouble of blessing me, if it at all even was a trouble
"Umm hi, I'm Ryzer it's nice to meet you" I responded in an unsure tone as I was still scared of them, but my fear of them has lessened greatly after this, yet I know not to trust strangers easily
"Excuse me, but why have you wasted your time saving me?"
"Hahaha, it is never a waste to try and save people it is only doing a good deed, besides we could use a helping hand in the village with some chores, though I don't think you can help as you are just a child. To be honest we came here because the grand mage passing by sensed a weird energy he has never before felt and we also caught you in our radar, so we were looking for that energy but as you are clearly manaless it's probably not you, by the way have you seen anything strange around here?" Sero seemed to like to talk a lot for some reason, but I guess it's good news for me, though the other two haven't said a word and seem totally uninterested in me, and Sero looks excited to finally talk to someone
"Well I haven't seen anything and thank you for saving me, I'm lost and I really have no clue where to go, in my tribe we had a disease spreading so I had to leave alone as I have no parents" I started blabbing lies like an expert and coming up with them on the spot, or at least I hope I did
"Well alright let's get you to safety, come here hop on my back and let's go, the captain should be the one to bear the responsibility after all" He seemed to be smiling at least that's what I saw in his eyes and he looks very proud of himself, 'good for him' I thought
As I hop on his back I start to remember the speed they were going at and my face turns pale and I just clutch on his neck with half my strength chocking him a bit
"Woah calm down tiger, don't worry I won't go too fast I know the limits of a child by the way how old are you?" He asks and just as I was about to answer he starts zooming and my mouth goes sideways as it's open so I quickly close it and my eyes so sand doesn't get to them
15 minutes of running like that pass and we finally slow down a bit, I have already gotten a bit used to the speed but I am still frightened to look, and I have been praying for my life the entire time, even though my brain knew that I would be safe, my heart still beat wildly, like those roller coasters my dad took me to when I was young
I open my eyes as we seem to slow down a bit more, but I only open a tiny slit. Sure enough it seems Sero slowed down enough for there to be no sand and I open my eyes to see the village he talked about
It was exactly that, just a regular village, a few times bigger than a Minecraft village and it had more shops and stuff, though no little farms, they are much bigger and seem to not have carrots
"Well champ, here we are, you can get off now by the way, my mana has gotten a bit dry and I need to replenish it so we can't run that fast it will be just a minute, no need to risk a depletion of my mana for a minute walk"
"Oh right the grand mage would like to meet you, don't worry he is a kind old man, he won't get mad"
He talks to me and looks down on me in a similar yet completely different matter to my dad nowadays, more like my dad back then, though it feels even more fatherly somehow
"Alright Mr. Sero, but can I take a shower first? I'm full of sand and I hate it" I asked in a more child like voice for some reason than when I talked to him before
"Hmm a shower? There is no need for that Lorey, do your thing" After he said that, I start feeling a bit down as I wanted to relax a bit and calm my mind, but it appears as if this Lorey girl has all kinds of magic, maybe she is like a grand mage herself, though maybe she is just a super nanny
"Clean thy body" She says in a mystical tone and my whole body feels fresh and relaxed, my mind somehow also cools down
