Changes...

The morning of this new day unlike the day before was less cold. The incandescent radiance of the morning sun was quite disturbing but it wasn't intruding.

Vincent slid open the curtain of his room–just atop his study table. He made a sweet smile as that incandescent radiance filled his entire room with a warm air.

After seeping in a great deal of the morning air with delight. He rushed into the bathroom to take his bath. Today he was going to school and he felt it was going to be different from any other day he had been going.

All thanks to the great difference brought by the system.

Vincent submerged himself in the warm embrace of the bath, his tall and bony frame visible beneath the water's surface.

A single ray of light permeated the bathroom and was enough to give it a subtle but luminescent glow, one that highlighted his jet-black hair, slicked back as droplets clung to its strands.

His features were accentuated by a chiseled jawline, set against the contrast of pale skin that seemed untouched by the sun. This was a noticeable difference that had come to him in just one day.

As he rose from the water, rivulets cascaded down his body, emphasizing his skinny lines.

Vincent's reflection in the misted mirror revealed a confident gaze, his dark eyes holding a hint of excitement. He towel-dried his hair, the strands falling into place effortlessly, and then wrapped the towel around his waist.

Moving out of the bathroom, Vincent took the black tracksuit he hung on the wall. He had gotten it yesterday night in some boutique. It was quite an expensive one… in addition with his feeding expenses that night half of his allowance for the year was gone.

He didn't regret it however. Because this thing looked super good on him, after buying it, the store owner had insisted that he allows her to take a picture so she can make it into a frame and hang it on the wall of her store.

She was even so sure that he was a model.

The compliments he received from her felt very nice. And Vincent had a feeling that this was only the beginning.

The material did not cling too tightly to his physique, but it was so free and aesthetic.

With a quick, fluid motion, he slipped into the track suit, zipping it up casually. The ensemble exuded a sporty yet sophisticated vibe, a perfect match for Vincent's now effortlessly handsome demeanor.

"Alright!"

Vincent shouted. He took the cross bag and wore it across his torso, paused for a few moments before going outside. His sneakers was tight.

The increase in his height had also come to affect his shoe size. But he had no choice but to manage it. Should he have decided to buy a pair of sneakers. He probably would not be left with anything more to eat.

Vincent marched out of his apartment, slightly scared, slightly anxious, slightly excited at how today was going to go.

The rising sun cast its radiant glow upon Mereung High School, making the polished marble of its tiered pagoda rooftops glimmer.

Students streamed through the towering wooden gates, the boys dressed neatly in cobalt jackets with black pants, the girls freely flowing in their short pleated skirts.

They crossed the central courtyard with its ornate pavilion and manicured pine trees with soft mutters.

Strangely, the mutters grew… soft? Sure but the ratio and thickness of murmur became intense, every lady was looking at a certain person and blushing.

"Oh my God is he an idol?"

"He must be new to this place?"

"I think I've seen him on TV,"

"He's so tall, I love him!"

"Doesn't he look familiar though"

All kinds of words entered Vincent's ears as he strode along the path and made it into the tenth grade building.

Three large buildings formed a circle in the school compound and several other smaller buildings with a glamorously large field sitting between the buildings.

Each building held five classes on the third floor, the first and second floor below were staff offices and other necessary administration of the school.

Lowering his head through the thong of crowd, Vincent made it into his class and walked to his seat.

The class as it always is was scanty. On one corner some girls were doing their make up, they sat on table around a very sophisticated box that was unfurled into steps of some sort.

They all became frozen the moment he stepped into the class. It was like a strange chill overwhelmed them.

Who the hell is this guy? Their eyes betrayed the thoughts they had in their heads. But much more surprise filled their face as they saw the seat he settled down on.

The four girls looked at each other.

Other students in the class too were also looking at each other. There was the silent short guy in glasses who was also occasionally subscribed to bullying but since his parents are rich, things are a bit manageable for him… all he needed to do was stay silent.

There was also other guys who were cool, the extra playful, the studious, the player, the nut job and several others. All of them were currently glancing at him with some skeptical look on their faces.

Finally, a blonde haired boy came to him. His eyes was beautiful, but Vincent knew him. He was playful, unserious and had serious issues with maintaining a girl. He usually walks with lots of girls and was quite popular amongst them.

A lot of times they also don't take him serious.

He stopped in front of Vincent's table which was situated at the back of the class.

"Hey new guy."

He uttered.

"Not to disrespect you or anything but, you can't just walk into this class and pick any seat. And that place belongs to one shortie that I know."

Vincent's head was lowered as the guy spoke. When the guy was done, Vincent slowly raised his head with his eyes tightly shut, exuding the venomous aura of a deadly viper.

"What do you mean new? What do you mean shortie?"

A vein could be seen popping out on his forehead.

The blonde hair guy drew a slight frown as he observed Vincent's face. Then Vincent helped him.

"I'm not new and I am that shortie you are talking about."

The frown on his face became deep.

"No way. That is impossible. You grew one feet in a day?!" The guy shouted, shooting back his head in shock.

Vincent smiled delightfully.

"Yes I did…"

'Oh, this is so satisfying.'

The guy was still having a stunned shock on his face. This reality was hard for him to process and accept. The shortest guy in the class suddenly comes to school as the tallest?

What is this, a fairytale?!

Seeing the waned expression on his face and his bug eye made Vincent feel ecstatic. It was a very good feeling in his belly.

Others were not paying attention to their conversation but they looked like they wanted to know what was going on too. They were just so full of pride that they would want to look like they weren't prying. What else to be expected from rich scions.

The back door opened and a round boy strolled in with dull spirit. He settled on the table and chair beside Vincent's and brought out some books from his back ignoring other persons, even the blond haired beauty.

After placing his textbooks on his table, he turned to greet Vincent his friend but his eyes suddenly froze.

"Vincent?"

His voice stuttered.

The blond haired guy was brought out of his stunned state.

"Oh shit! It really is you? If your friend recognizes you then it really is you Vincent!!"

At this point, hie voice went high and people in the class clearly heard. Mutters were rising and students were looking back.

Suddenly the back door swung open with a mighty slam that attracted everyone's attention.

The blonde haired guy frowned as three arrogant guys walked. He tapped Vincent's shoulders and shook his head.

"Good luck brah"

Vincent was surprised. Someone touched him, one of these rich scions touched him and felt pity for him.

This were people that didn't even look at him when he passed, to them it was like he didn't exist, however just a day in school after receiving the amazing system, he was talked about approached.

Vincent's dark brows furrowed as the three guys approached him, one slapping the fat guy's head from the back.

The one in their middle, a very stoney guy with a thuggish look on his face, his shirt was haphazardly worn, no tie, first three buttons open to display his chiseled chest, and a mischievous grin on his face.

That grin however twitched for a second the moment he saw the tall pale guy sitting at the back. But the next second he knew that it was his pet.

"What is this? Did you grow a feet in just one day of not being in school"

Vincent did not say anything, only a very dark scowl evident on his face. His aura was extremely unwelcoming to them.

"Huh? Are you mad, what is it with that nasty look of yours?"

The guy in the middle grabbed his cheek, squeezing them together and pulling him up. The other two chuckled and the class watched in absolute nonchalance.

Vincent struggled to remove the guy's hand but successfully made the guy retreat his hand for a moment. Then backed away, standing up straight.

A frown appeared on the arrogant guy's face as he had to raise his head slightly to see Vincent's.

He was silent for a second, then his face suddenly became grim.

"Lower your damn self you retard!"

He shouted, arching a kick at Vincent's leg. The kick felt like it shattered his bone and Vincent dropped to one knee, sucking in the throbbing pain on his leg.

"Now that is better…"

Vincent was utterly bitter. He wasn't expecting the kick and even though it came, how could he had defended himself against it.

'...frustration. he's stronger for sure… but I'm not going to be bullied again. No, I won't live that life. This is where it ends.'

As Vincent slowly rose back, a beep entered his ear.
