Say that again

When Siddharth heard the voice, he turned his head and saw a well built and handsome man walking toward him, his eyes narrowed and a scowl on his face.

Seeing the man was angry—apparently with him—Siddharth willed to see his information.

Unlike when he was in the cultivation world, he had to will it before the target's information would appear in front of him. Perhaps it was because this was his original world, or some other reason, but he preferred it this way, since he found it weird to see words floating above everyone's heads.

As he willed it, three rows of words appeared above the man's head and when he read them, a surprised expression appeared on his face.

[Name: Rahul Singh]

[Level: 11]

[Status: Annoyed, angry, surprised.]

'Level 11?'

Siddharth blinked, thinking if he had seen wrong, but here it was… unchanged.

'How is so high level? He—'

"What are you staring at?" The man's voice interrupted his line of thinking.

When he focused, he saw the man, Ruhul, was already in front of him, his 190 CM tall frame towering over him in an intimidating manner.

 "I-I…" Siddharth stuttered, taking a step backward, feeling nervous. When he realised his cowardly instincts were kicking in, he gritted his teeth, stopped himself from cowering away, and took a deep breath before saying in an even voice:

"Nothing. And yes, I think she is cute."

"Hm?" Rahul raised his brows at this. From Siddharth's initial response, he knew he was a cowardly type, despite his well-built body.

Then he realised something and chuckled, "Trying to act tough, are we?"

"Yeah. I don't like my cowardly personality. Why? You don't like it?" Siddharth smirked in response, discreetly glancing around and sighed in relief when he saw two guys walking over.

'Since there are other people here, he wouldn't fight, would he?' He thought. He knew he was weaker than this guy and if they fought, which was likely given how aggressive the other party was, he would be beaten.

'Fuck! This is so humiliating!' He cursed.

He had been bullied in the past too, but he had no other choice than to endure it because he knew he would suffer more if he retaliated. After getting the system, he thought he wouldn't suffer like that again, but here he was, in the similar situation.

Rahul's face distorted in anger when he heard him and then said through gritted teeth, "You worm! Aren't you being too cocky?"

Whoosh!

As soon as he said this, his right hand shot out at a fast speed and punched at Siddharth's face.

They were too close, and Rahul was very fast, making it seem impossible for Siddharth to dodge, but…

Swoosh!

Right when the punch was a few inches away from Siddharth's face, his pupils constricted and he titled his head to the side, dodging the punch.

"Hm?" Rahul's eyes narrowed, but he didn't seem too surprised, as though he had expected it.

He then started moving his left hand to strike, but before he could do anything, Siddharth clenched his right fist, moved his shoulder back a little, and struck his abdomen.

Bam!

The fist struck right in the middle of his hardened packs.

Rahul first revealed slight surprise, then his lips started curling upward. "You can't hurt—Pah!"

Right as he opened his mouth, his eyes bulged out as if they were going to pop out, and a pained expression appeared on his face. His legs gave out, and he fell to his knees with a 'thud', his hands clutching his stomach.

Tap! Tap!

Siddharth took two steps back, raised his right hand, and stared at it in surprise.

"I've gotten faster and stronger?" He wondered aloud.

When the two guys, who were walking over wanting to prevent the fight after noticing Rahul was angry, stopped in their tracks when they saw how the things had turned out.

They exchanged glances before one of them opened his mouth and asked in disbelief, "Did that guy just kicked that obsessed madman's ass?"

"Uh-huh. He did." The other one nodded, just as surprised. Then both sighed in pity. "Now, he will also suffer."

Ignoring the guy kneeling in front of him, Siddharth hurriedly opened his status screen.

[Siddharth Sharma]

[Race: Human]

[Level: 3]

[Health: 10/15 -> 30/30]

[Strength: 7 -> 13]

[Agility: 6 -> 11]

[Stamina: 6 -> 10]

[Skills: Telepathy (Lvl. 1)]

After glancing over at his attributes, he closed the status screen and lips curled up into a pleased grin.

'I really did become stronger. The potion was quite extraordinary, huh? Not only did it make my body fit, it also doubled my health stat, almost doubled strength, agility and stamina. Or maybe the workout gave me the stamina?' He thought and looked at Rahul. 'Either way, this is quite nice.'

He then took a step forward, squatted down in front of him and propped his chin up so he was looking into his eyes.

"I don't care who are you, just know, if you dare to attack me again, I… won't let off you this easy."

He first wanted to say that he would kill him, but even though he knew he had to kill beasts and even people in the cultivation world and possibly kill some people here too, he wasn't comfortable saying it so he changed the wordings of his threat.

Whoosh!

As soon as finished speaking, Rahul's hand shot out like lightening, grabbing at his neck.

Siddharth's pupils constricted, and he thought, 'Maybe I shouldn't have tried to act cool?'

Even as he thought this, his right hand intercepted Rahul's claw and clutched his wrist.

"You don't learn, do you?" He asked, anger flashing in his eyes while his grip on his wrist tightened, making the guy wince.

"Do you know who you are talking to, you bastard? I can have you killed before nightfall." Rahul barked, her face dark in anger.

Slap!

As soon as he said this, a loud slap rang out.

"Say that again…"
