My Friend and I Reincarnated Into a Tragedy Dating Game

So I've been playing this shitty dating game along with my friend. Why is it shitty? Well, none of the damn endings are happy! You're destined to get a sad ending no matter what choices you make. But for some reason, we couldn't stop ourselves from talking about it or searching for some other ending. Ah... but I guess it doesn't matter since both of us died saving some random people we never met. ...Wait, why did I reincarnate into the villain of the shitty dating game? And my friend reincarnated as the hero? Is this... a good thing? Fuck, Nathan why are you beating yourself up? We need to make a real plan here!

Standing With

The woman didn't seem to understand at first, but Nathan repeated himself while raising his voice, still pointing at the knife.

"Pick it up."

She flinched before crawling over to pick up the knife. Afterward, Nathan pointed to the dead body on the floor.

"Now stab him."

The woman looked at Nathan with a desperate expression.

"W-What? B-But..."

Nathan went down on one knee, pulling his face closer to hers once more, not caring that it brought his neck right next to the knife the woman was holding up. His expression didn't change, but his eyes widened, which was his tell for being pissed off.

"What's the problem? You were the one that killed him, remember? Now go. Stab him."

Like a puppet, the woman slowly brought herself over to the dead body, and weakly stabbed the man, just barely inserting the knife into his gut. Nathan stood behind her, watching with his hands behind his back.

"That's too weak. How could that kill anyone? You killed him, remember? Try harder."
