While it was indeed true that the actual Bryson's mother was absent, that was because she was dead. Granted, from the small lore tidbits that I did hear, Bryson hardly had any contact with his parents in general.
Though that was far from strange. The peculiar nobles were the ones that didn't personally neglect their children.
However, the biggest problem here is that the actual person in control talking to her, me, couldn't relate in the slightest. Or perhaps, there was some sort of relation, but in an inverse way.
It was going to be a little inconvenient to portray myself as a person that longed for their parents, even if I knew Nathan quite well. Mostly because I didn't care enough to actually go through with the effort of lying.
