With everyone in the carriage, a heavy atmosphere had spread out, though it felt a little discordant. Probably because most of the students were just thinking of getting a good grade, as that was the priority for most students.
Harold took in a deep breath, before stating things bluntly.
"Regardless of your performance here, everyone will be granted a choice between becoming a temporary Class S member for at least three days, or a sum of money no lower than ten gold."
Arianne couldn't help but gasp. It seemed that she was surprised by how lacking that was, after all, it was the money for one meal.
He then continued on.
"...But those rewards may be increased depending on your performance in this assignment. Keep in mind that you should not push yourself should you know it is beyond your capabilities, as I can only help you so much, and your life is not guaranteed. Should anybody wish to quit, they can do so at any time."
