169 I Felt Complete

Maya's POV

"Maya!" Mom Esmeralda shouted, and she ran to meet me after I got out of my car.

"Mom!" I exclaimed, and she hugged me tightly, and I can tell she missed me so much, even though we meet each other once in a while during her visits to the city together with my brothers and I know they all planned to visit me, and they make some excuses to see me, and it made me feel so happy.

"Why didn't you tell me you are coming home today? I should have prepared your favorite food." Mom said, and she released me from her embrace. I can't stop myself from smiling, and I realized this is what I miss most in San Antonio, my family, and Adonis, and of course, I missed the entire farm as well. She helped me with my luggage, and we get inside the main house. We settled ourselves in the living room.

"It is okay, mom, and you don't need to prepare anything for me. Besides, I am planning to eat my lunch at the Monleon hacienda." I declared, and her smile broadens.
