Ariana’s Party-Part 2

Maya's POV

Ariana came closer to me, and she handed me another paper bag. And when I looked at her, she smiled at me, and she said in front of our friends.

"Wear that Maya and let us see how long my brother can resist your charm, I just need you to know, I didn't invite Cassandra. I can't confront my brother why he brings her to my exclusive party, I only invited Jake, James, and Adrian since they are the only kids from the circle I like to be with. It would be rude if I asked him now while they're talking. But I don't wish you to look sad, you are beautiful Maya, and if my brother turns into a jerk again, then it is time to give his own medicine." Ariana said, and I am shocked to hear her words and I can tell she is upset with her brother.

"Lisa, please bring Maya to the shower area, but I think it is better if we go to my place if you will excuse us, Rich." She said smiling at him, and he nodded at her like a schoolboy. And I couldn't believe that Rich is into Ariana, why I haven't seen the sign. I got so happy to be with my two best friends, even though I felt so hurt inside. I didn't know Ariana knew about Adonis and me.

"Now, you shower first Lisa since I need to talk with Maya." Ariana said the moment we get inside her beautiful room, and every time I am in her bedroom I felt like I am inside a Princess room in a Palace for it is so big, and the expensive design and the furniture are so good to be true. Lisa gets inside the bathroom immediately.

"I am sorry, Maya, I realize you didn't tell me about what my brother did, he just arrived last night and I talk to him, but he didn't give me an answer, he just shunned me away. I don't perceive what is going on with his mind right now. I am so annoyed with him for doing this to you. He asked me if he could court you, and now he suddenly turns out like that." She said and her face turned red because she is furious.

"I can't believe him for being such an idiot, and the worst part, he invited Cassandra. I know she hurt you last year, and she is a bitch Maya. I just don't know what my mother had seen in her. If you asked me she is an excellent actress, and I realize it, every time my mom is around she hides her true color." She added.

"I am sorry if I failed to defend you from my twin, I want to call you not to come over, but I prepared this party for you." She said.

"Hey, Ariana, you don't need to protect me. Besides, it is not your fault that I fall in love with your brother, it was my choice. Don't worry about me, I am so used to being hurt by him, these feelings I have right now are not foreign to me. Don't you remember it is his forte to make me miserable, and I guess the best way to counter him is to ignore him too, I think it is time for me to give chance the other guy who wants to know me?" I replied, and she smiled at me.

"I hate that idea, Maya, since I wish you to become my sister-in-law someday, and I prefer you to be the mother of my nieces and nephews." She said as she hugged me.

"Me too, Ariana, but what can I do, I was only one conquest of your brother's games." I replied, and I stand from the bed and I get the Scrapbook from Lisa's bag.

"Can I ask a favor from you? You will make me happy if you will fill up this scrapbook, I know this is childish, but I love doing this with Lisa, this is hers since I forgot mine." I added as I handed her the Scrapbook and I already opened it to the page where I wish her to fill up. And I can see the excitement that registered on her face.

"Don't be silly, Maya, this is not childish, this can be so exciting! I just want you to know, I love this." She said, then she started writing on the notebook and I can't stop my heart from feeling so excited for Rich, and I just hope it will reward his feelings since he is a good friend of mine.

"But I hope Lisa will let me borrow this, one of these days since I love reading something like this." She said as she handed me back the Scrapbook and just-in-time Lisa got out of the shower wearing her one-piece swimsuit, and she looks stunning.

"Now, it is your turn Maya to take a shower, I need you to go back to the party immediately, please don't keep me waiting, okay?" She asked.

"Okay." We both responded at the same time, then she goes out of her room, and we looked for her entry, and we both screamed when we see the question of who is your crush? She answered: RC Hernandez, it means Richard Clay Hernandez, and I can't contain my happiness. I almost jump on my feet. Maybe love will blossom tonight. I showered immediately, for I am so excited to tell Rich the good news. And Lisa gets inside the shower room when I didn't get out after I put on my new red two-piece given to me by Ariana a while ago.

"Maya, what are you doing here? Ariana is waiting for us, you look so gorgeous with that two-piece, Maya, and I am sure all the boys in the swimming pool will gape at you." She said, and I can't hold myself from feeling so conscious.

"Maya, can you please stop covering your assets, if I have that kind of body, I will walk right now in front of everybody showcasing my assets. You have a lovely body, Maya, the kind of figure every girl dreams to have, especially your boobs. Now come here, and I promise you will be happy." She said as she pulled me from the bathroom I tried to resist her, but she is so strong, I struggled to cover my body with the towel, but she snatches it from me. She pushed me in leading to the door, and I don't have a choice but to step on the stairs of the Monleon mansion wearing my red two-piece, and I am shocked to cross path with Adonis and Jake and I know he is leading to his room, but when he sees me his face stiffened, and he turns his heels away from us while Jake can't stand staring at me.

"Wow! Maya! You look so hot!" He shouted then I am surprised to see Adonis walking so fast, and he dragged his cousin away from us.

"Wow! The show must begin!" Lisa said with a wide smile on her face while I am so confused about what is going on with Adonis, and the moment we get back on the side of the swimming pool the guys stopped playing around, and they shifted all their eyes on me, even the girls cease from chatting each other, and they are looking at me with mixed expressions. I can tell the boys are worshiping me while the ladies are admiring my beauty except for Cassandra, who is staring daggers at me.

I felt I turned into a stone for I don't know what to do, I heard some of them whistled, then out of the blue, Rich put his hands on my waist then he carried me as he jumped into the swimming pool, my scream was suspended in the air, and I felt so glad he is always there to save me from anything, and I wonder if Lisa was right, or we are just paranoid to bring meaning to his friendship towards me. I can tell he likes Ariana, and I am so delighted about it since I realize I can never offer him my heart.

I am screaming at Rich as I am splashing water on his face, and he is laughing hard as he tries to do the same to me, then we both swim to the other end of the pool where no one occupies, then I saw Lisa dives into the pool, and it was a perfect performance and the boys clapped their hands.

"Rich, I have something to tell you, and I know it will make you so thrilled." I spoke, and he looked at me seriously, and I noticed Lisa is now swimming beside me. We are all holding on at the edge of the swimming pool for we are floating at the ten feet side of the pool.

"Be sure that news will drive me so happy." He responded.

"Ariana likes you too." I replied, and he stared so surprised.

"Maya let her fill up my Scrap Book, and bingo Ariana's crush is no other than RC Hernandez." Lisa said before Rich can challenge me, how did I learn about it.

"Congratulations, Rich, I think this is the best time to ask Ariana on a date." I said, and he is smirking at me like an idiot, then he embraces me, and I can't hold myself from grinning, I know every moment I am in his arms I felt secure, and I always get at ease, and I am so happy for my friends that they both like each other, and my smiles turned into a scowl when I find Adonis looking at us with hatred in his eyes, and I can't stand myself from hoping that he is so jealous right now that I am in Rich muscular arms.

" If only looks could kill, I think you are now attending my wake, can you see the expressions on Adonis's face, he looks so angry with me, now that I am holding you in my arms?" Rich said, and I shook my head.

" I am so tired of his games and I want to stop myself from wishing, and what I crave this moment is to bring it on. If he wants a game, then I am now ready to play my game. And I can't wait to see who will be the winner this time. I am so used to being the loser, so in this game, I have nothing to lose." I spoke to Rich, and he smiled at me.

" Wow! Good luck with that, Maya." He said.

" Don't worry, Maya, we are here, and you can always count on us to give you our undying support." Lisa declared, and her words make me more determined to show Adonis that I had enough of his schemes.
