A random guy

"Sir, should we leave" his driver asked.

Nodding his head, Lucas took a final glance at Elena's house and left the place. He had followed her until she reached her home. He wanted to make sure she was safe back to her house.

After reaching his penthouse, he was greeted by his nanny Martha. Lucas had his dinner outside as he had a meeting with the client. He was very tired and wanted to rest, so he didn't waste any more time and headed to his bedroom.

He didn't had the energy to even turn on the lights, so he directly went to the bathroom to fresh up.

After doing his night routine, he came out from the bathroom and slept on one end of the bed

Lucas was in deep slumber ,when he felt someone's hand caressing his chest. Alarm by someone's presence, he opened his eyes wide thinking that their must an intruder who had entered the house, he slowly turned to the other side and kicked the person down from the bed.

"Help.. help.. help.. " the person on the floor started shouting.

Turning on the light, Lucas was about to go and punch the person when he stopped.

"Daniel..! "Lucas said looking at the person.

" Brother, why did you push me... aww my back" he cried in pain holding his waist.

"Why were you sleeping on my bed and when did you come?" he inquired. and went to making him stand.

Taking Daniel's hand he help him to stand up. Walking to the couch he settle him down and went to sit next to him.

"I came in the evening, you where not home and I.... just wanted to surprise you" he answered still feeling the pain in back.

Daniel was Lucas cousin, his uncle's son. He was one year younger than Lucas and had the same blue eyes as him. The only thing that differ was their height, Daniel was short by just few centimeters.

They both lived in the same penthouse, but Daniel had to keep traveling for his medical seminar so he hardly got time to stay there.

"So how was your seminar? " being an older brother he always kept an eye on him.

"It was good as always, maybe.. I think this would be my last trip" he looked at Lucas. Pausing for a while he continued ,"Dad wants me to take over his position and.. I guess it's time for him to take break and enjoy time with his wife" he smirked.

" Yes, it's high time now for you take the responsibility and he really needs rest" he chuckled smiling at Daniel and continued, "or else.... aunt wont allow him to sleep next to her" .Remembering the scene that happened before both burst into laughter.

Chatting for a while, both the brothers discussed about their work.

"You must be tired, now go back to your room and sleep...". Lucas got up and walked towards his bed. His peaceful sleep was disturbed by his little brother and now god know when he would get that back.

" Yes I am really sleepy.... " Daniel yawned and walked out of the bedroom.

Maira had already reached Elena home and was busy chatting with her parents.

" Mom don't talk to her.. she left without me for vacation "Elena said walking down stairs.

" And who said she had to prepare for the interview ", Maira hugged Julian asking her to protect from Elena's accusation.

Maira had lost her mother after she was born, she didn't get motherly care during her childhood, but after meeting Elena she got a mother figure who pampered her like her own daughter.

" Aunty see.. she is blaming me "she pointed at Elena and pouted looking at Julian.

"Such an attention seeker" Elena mumbled.

" Ok Elena stop with your blaming game, my daughter has come home after a long  vacation and she must be hungry because of travelling" Julian pinch Maira cheeks and went to kitchen leaving the girls alone.

"Mom this is not fair, I wanted you to scold her" Elena shouted from behind.

Holding her hand Maira dragged Elena to the couch ,"How's my girls office going on" she said hugging her from one side .

"Its good.... " she smile while answering.

Elena didn't want to tell her about her boss shameless acts or else she would go and punch him on his face without warning.

Maira was a boxing champion in high school and she was national level winner. She didn't think twice before beating the shit out of anyone who would try to mess with her.

"How was your vacation? looking at the pictures you send me, it seemed you really enjoyed there" she said changing the topic.

"Y-yes.... " she said avoiding her gaze.

Elena kept looking at her for a while getting something weird with her behavior.  Maira is not someone who would just avoid her. While talking with her on the call she would keep muttering so much that she literally had to fake her sleep.

"What? " she shrugged her shoulder after she saw Elena scanning at her with narrow look.

"What,, what! what are you hiding and w..what is this on your nec-" she stopped when she saw a red mark on it.

"W-what ?it's nothing" she immediately covered it with her hand.

"No there is something, let me have a look" she pulled back her hand that covered it.

"H-hickey.... " Elena's eye open wide in shock after what she saw.

"How did this happened? "she raised her eyebrows questioning her.

Covering Elena mouth she dragged her upstairs to her room. Closing the door, she turned back and saw Elena's face.

Gulping her saliva she spoke" I had one night stand with a random man.... "  Maira disclose the secret that she was trying to hide but failed really bad. What would Elena think of her now? she thought avoided her blazing gaze.

Elena's kept studying her face, and she was sure that it has happened by mistake. Even though Maira was bold and fierce girl, she still wanted to fall in love and the marry with the mam who she would fall for. 

" Was that man handsome" she said excited s her gaze turned soft. She didn't wanted her to feel bad about it, so she tried cheering her up.

"Yes he was.... " she said sighing in relief. She slumped her shoulder down s if a big stone was lifted from it.

Maira knew Elena's was not someone who would judge her for anything.

"Tell me everything from the start" she said like a small kid ready to hear the story.

After telling her everything she started looking in her phone leaving Elena in disbelief.

"What...y-you just ran away after spending night with him" she stared at her still not believing her words. How can she act like a coward.

"What did you want me to do then? wait for him to get up? " She didn't looked up and kept staring at her phone.

"No its not like that, but still you know handsome men are hard to get. Who knows you could fall for him" she just said casually.

Maira was drunk that night and after partying hard in the club, she was not in her sense to know when she went with him and satisfied her desire.

The next day she woke up , only to find herself in his arms, He was the most handsome man she had met till now.

But he was not the man whom she loved or fallen for, he was just a random man she spend her night with.

Clearing her thought she slowly freed herself from his embrace. Wearing her clothes she silently left the room.

That day, after her passionate night with him she felt like a complete person, someone who was cherish and loved even though it was just a single night.

"Maybe.. I would have stayed" she thought at Elena's words.

Even if she stayed and not ran like a coward but still she didn't knew what the man thought about their night. Maybe was also there just to have one night stand with a random girl.
