Get your head in the game.

The week passed by so fast until it was finally the game day.

Friday.

The final bell rang and I packed my books to head home.

Most students were hanging around the school till the game starts because they're all hyped about the fact that it's the first game of the year.

I'm by my locker putting away my books, when Chelsea walked towards me.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

"What does it look like I'm doing Chelsea?" I ask her back as I close my locker and turn to walk towards the exit. 

"You're not staying for thr game?" 

"No."

"Why?" 

"I already told you, I'm not needed there. And besides, I don't want to be there."

"That's just nonsense Summer. You need to be there. For Jaxon and for me. I need you there."

I turn to her. "You'll have Austin."

"He's going to be on the pitch. I need someone who's going to be with me on the sidelines."
