IN THE DARK
After that moment of pain, that moment of disappointment and affliction Djane lost her smile and her light. she found herself into the darkness all alone and desperate. she consumes all those angers and empty emotions inside of her and become cold like ice. her new habit now was to go in night club everyday pay prostitutes for dance, get drunk and have sex. when she's in night club her rules are pretty simple Djane will always be the dominant, she can touch you do whatever she wants to you but you're not allowed to touch her at all. the moment you accept her money and her treats there's no going back .and if you oppose to her rules well... She wouldn't care anyway she would just compel you to do so. after all you mean nothing to her, just a human girl that she wants to have a good time with. She wasn't nearest of how she used to be.
she had too much hatred and anger, her grief was far to be over, for her there was no more hope or convictions left to hold on to her life. night clubs are the only places she could feel good while enjoying herself. she wanted to feel something, feel anything, as long as it helps her feeling alive again. it was the only place where she could stop thinking about everything else than pleasure to the fullest. She was addicted to feeling numb when the night is over, she would feed on you and go home.
Arriving at home at 12 in the morning she takes off her blue jacket throw it on the couch and sits down, feeling completely worthless and mad she stands up to take a glass of whiskey, pouring the whiskey in the glass and take the whole shot, the glass of whiskey isn't enough so she takes the whole bottle and planning to drink it all. Marine who was waiting for her get home runs over her quickly when she notices and snatch the bottle.
''THAT'S ENOUGH DJANE YOU HAVE ENOUGH DRINK FOR TONIGHT. ''
''GIVE IT BACK!'' Says Djane while staring at MARINE Right in her eyes and getting mad. ''DON'T YOU THINK IT'S TIME TO STOP ALL THAT?'' Says Marine waiting for her to respond '' STOP WHAT MARINE? ''
'' ALL THAT, ALL THOSE DINKING, NIGHTMARES, GRIEF AND ANGER IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON, LET HER GO IT'LL BE FOR THE BEST. ''
'' HOW ABOUT YOU MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS IT'S FREE YOU KNOW, THAT WOULD GIVE YOU MORE TIME TO HANDLE YOUR OWN SHIT'' Says Djane annoyed
'' WELL, FORGIVE ME IF MY SISTER IS BECOMING LIKE A TOTAL STRANGER TO US. CAN'T YOU SEE THAT YOU'RE LOSING YOURSEF COMPLETELLY? AND IT'S AFFECTING ALL OF US NOT JUST YOU OR YOU'RE JUST TOO SELFISH TO TAKE A LOOK AROUND YOU AND SEE HOW YOU'RE HURTING THE ONES THAT REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU HEIN ANSWER ME.'' Yelled Marine.
Djane looks at her sister emotionless it's not like she didn't know how she was behaving was bad, or that her sister was worried about her she knew. She knew that they hated the way she's was behaving but that was the only way she knew how to numb her pain and wasn't really ready to stop.
''IT'S BEEN 100 YEARS IT'S TOTALLY INSANE THAT YOU STILL CAN'T FORGET ABOUT THAT SLUT BECAUSE, TRUST ME I BET SHE HAS ALREADY FORGOT EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU COMPLETELY AND LIVING HER BEST LIFE. YOU'VE BEEN LIVING FOR TOO MANY YEARS TO LET A SIMPLE WORTHLESS WOMAN HAVING THAT MUCH POWER OVER YOU LIKE THAT. SHE DOESN'T DESERVE YOU, YOUR ENERGY AND YOUR LOVE SERIOUSLSY IF YOU FAIL TO SEE ALL THAT THEN YOU'RE PATHETIC AND I PITY YOU.''
''WATCH IT MARINE '' Says Djane by giving Marine a threatening look, that look gave her chills down her spine because she knew even if she's trying to confront Djane there's no way she could win a fight against her she was the strongest of the family after all but she wasn't planning on backing up especially when she knows she was doing it for her own good. Djane stood up and coming closer to Marine by slow steps.
'' WATCH IT, DON'T TALK TO ME IN THAT TONE.''
Marine could feel that if she keeps talking to her like that, that wouldn't end too well for her. Elise behind doors listening to the conversation and couldn't dare taking part in the argument because unlike her sisters she was the most sensitive and calm she can't stand arguments when it comes to her sisters after all even if she does try to calm them down, they will both tell her to stay out of it so she stays behind the door but ready to intervene whenever things get out of hands. ELISE felts powerless because she felts like nothing could make DJANE see reasons. While they kept arguing and yelling at each other DJANE take her blue jacket on the couch put it on and started heading to the exit door.
''WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING AGAIN '' yelling MARINE to DJANE who's heading towards the exit door '' WHAT THE HELL WE'RE NOT D0NE YET! COME BACK HERE DJANE.'' but DJANE ignores her gave her another annoyed look before responding her '' WELL GUESS WHAT? I AM.'' she opens the door and gets out of the house, gets in her car and drives away leaving Marine in the living room alone. after she left, MARINE felt totally overwhelmed she sits on the couch her head in her hand and sigh. ELISE gets out finally approaches her big sister put her hand on her shoulder, while giving her a sad look and a reassurance look.
''YOU KNEW THE MOMENT YOU RAISE YOUR TONE IT WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME MARINE; SHE HATES THAT THE MOST.'' MARINE looks at ELISE and just nod
''I KNOW ELISE I KNOW I JUST...I JUST COULDN'T HELP IT. IT HURTS YOU KNOW, IT HURTS SO MUCH SEEING HER LIKE THAT, SHE'S LIKE A TOTAL STRANGER AND THOSE EYES, THOSE EYES WERE FULL OF HATRED I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.'' Says MARINE while getting too emotional and starts crying. ELISA take her older sister in her arms hold her tightly and couldn't hold her tears also. they both started to cry they were sharing the same pain and the same fear of losing their older sister for good.
''IT'S OK MARINE, IT'S OK I'M SURE SHE WILL FIND HERSELF AGAIN WE CAN'T LOSE HOPE. '' says ELISE trying to comfort her sister.
DJANE droves alone not knowing the destination, when she finally stops the car, she lays down on the sit and started to think about the argument she just had with MARINE
'' IT'S NOT LIKE I DON'T KNOW SHE'S WORRIED ABOUT ME, THEY ALL ARE.I KNOW SHE MEANT WELL AND SHE RIGHT ALL THE WAY, EVERYTHING SHE SAID WAS TRUE AND I GUESS THAT'S WHAT MADE ME ANGRIER NOT WITH HER BUT WITH MYSELF I HATE HURTING THEM LIKE THAT, AND I HATE MYSELF EVEN MORE FOR PUTTING THEM IN THIS KIND OF SITUATION. ''
while she was talking to herself and in deep thoughts, she realized that she was parked at her favorite park where she used to come with SARAH. she drove there intentionally, she kept staring at their favorite spot and caught herself not feeling any sadness, any anger or heartbroken because they were the only feelings, she could feel every time she thinks or sees something that reminds her of SARAH.
'' I GUESS IT'S OVER, ALL THOSE SAD AND PAINFULL MEMORIES ARE IN THE PAST NOW. I'M TIRED OF HURTING THOSE WHO REALLY CARE ABOUT ME BECAUSE OF YOU SARAH, MARINE WAS RIGHT IT'S TIME TO STOP THOSE IMMATURE WAYS OF MINE, AND I'M ALSO TIRED OF LIVING THIS MEANINGLESS LIFE.''
she finally realized that her routines are unhealthy and decided to stop hurting her sisters she felt like a weight was lift on her shoulder and take a deep breath planning to move different from on. while she was taking that little nap on her car, she smells something ''BLOOD '' Says Djane while getting out of the car '' WHAT THE HELL WHERE IS THAT COMING FROM?'' looking everywhere the scent of the blood was getting stronger and stronger. It wasn't just ordinary blood. The smell has something to it, it smells ''LUSCIOUS, THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME I'VE EVER SMELLED SOMETHING LIKE THAT.'' she was enjoying it keep taking big breath to inhale the scent over and over. she couldn't stand it. After a while the smell was attracting her like a magneto so she starts walking, following the scent step by step.
When she arrives, she saw a woman in the corner of the street who's yelling screaming and crying covering with blood she was trying to fight back against the thief. 'NO PLEASE I'M BEGGING YOU LET ME GO.''
at that moment Djane understood that the blood was from her. she kept screaming for help so Djane approaches the thief slowly and furious, she despises violence mostly towards woman cause even if she treats them like toy, she never abuses them in any sort.
'' HEY!''
''WHAT'' says the thief irritated
'' WHAT YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW IS TOTALLY INAPROPRIATE AND UNPLEASANT.''
''OHH YEAH? SO, WHAT '' looking at DJANE'S direction while still holding the other woman who's crying and scared. it was really dark so it was impossible for them to see Djane's face but she could see theirs clearly. for a vampire night time means nothing they could see no matter how dark it is.
'' LET HER GO '' after hearing this, the thief let out a mockery laugh.
''HAHA SO YOU'RE ONE OF THE KIND WHO THINKS THEY COULD BE REAL HEROES AFTER WATCHING TOO MANY SUPERNATURAL MOVIES. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR YOUNG LADY MIND AND YOUR DAMN BUSINESS OR YOU CAN STAY, YOU'LL BE MY DESSERT YOU KNOW, YOUR CHOICE.''
With no response Djane's stepping forwards the thief. the hostage who was crying, trying to break free didn't want DJANE to comes close.
'' NO DON'T COME OVER HERE HE WILL HURT YOU TOO, PLEASE LEAVE CALL THE POLICE YOU CAN'T CONFRONT HIM BY YOURSELF.'' she said crying. the thief already ripped up most of her clothes. when the girl talks to Djane the thief slaps her. DJANE gets aggravating by the slap her eyes turn red.
''IF YOU DARE SLAP HER AGAIN, I SWEAR IMMA MAKE YOU REGRET YOU WAS EVEN BORN.''
the thief wasn't having it at all, he wasn't scared at all at least for now.
Djane's killing aura take charge, he felts it and started to shake. as a human he can't explain how come another human can give that kind of aura, that kind of energy and energy that gave you chill but he sure does understand it wasn't friendly one and his leg started shaking, he had no control over his body he couldn't stop shaking no matter how hard he tries the woman afraid and weak passed out.
''LET HER GO I SAID ONE LAST TIME THAT'S MY LAST WARNING TRUST ME I WON'T REPEAT MYSELF.''
