The Fourth

I exploded in joy when saw him but dared not show any form of emotions. I excused my friend and went to meet him. He was seated with one other soldier and three female Corp members. Everyone responded to my greetings except him. " Why haven't you called?" he queried. I explained the ordeal with my phone and apologized not saving his number. I also thanked him once again for the help rendered the previous day and he asked me to take seat beside him. He introduced me to the other soldier as his Igbo friend.... Etc.

After eating he paid for the food and drinks both mine and that of Lekan's. I got relieved when I found out in the midst of our conversations that none those girls were with him. When we were leaving, I asked him to call his number for me so that I will save it this time, he refused and rather asked me to call mine so that he will call me instead. That's how we officially exchange contacts.

Next day, as at 10am, In my attempt to dodge SAED lectures, I fell into an AWKWARD MOMENT in the bathroom (which I will still share here in due time) ... So, when I came out from the bathroom, the soldiers were already chasing people out from the hostel. As I entered the hostel to dress up, one of the soldiers said he will give me two minutes to dress up and leave the hostel. I didn't respond ''YES SIR'' as we had been instructed to do whenever an instruction or order has been given.
