"The empire was destroyed and all its citizens were killed and drained of their blood. The last news we heard about the emperor was that someone named Cera killed the emperor and the pope in front of your people."

Why would they care about the empire? That doesn't make any sense.

As if to answer my confusion, Arti spoke up again.

"Mass genocide has been prohibited by all kingdoms, countries, and empires of the western and eastern region. But suddenly, an entire empire fell overnight. We're here to look into it. We're simply looking out for entities strong enough to explain the rules to or find the culprit responsible for doing this and kill them."

In my heart I knew what had happened. It explained why Mandy suddenly grew so big and why they said entity. They're not looking for a human. They know it wasn't a human who was responsible.

Is this what Cera meant by training? Was it the vines?
