Austin Cunningford

My name is Austin Cunningford. The third Prince of the Cunningford Kingdom.

My father brought me with him to visit the house of Archduke Lawdwin, the father of my fianceé to talk about political stuff. Apparently, father betrothed me to Archduke Lawdwin's daughter, Elizabeth Lawdwin before we were even born. Frankly, I don't approve of deciding the marriage of your children without their consent, but since it's already been decided, I won't say anything.

Anyway, I'm currently standing in front of a man with a muscular body, golden eyes, and a thick beard. Frankly, he looks more suited to be a knight than a noble. While at my side is a man with an even thicker beard, blue eyes, and a regal aura–My father, the King, Samuel Cunningford. Both of them looks cool; unlike me. I have black hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. I wonder if I'll be as cool as them when I grow a beard? I can't wait!

Oh, right, I'm supposed to introduce myself to Archduke Lawdwin. He's going to be my father-in-law in the future so I have to make a good first impression.

Politely bowing, I said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Archduke Lawdwin. My name is Austin Cunningford the third son of His Majesty, the King." After hearing my introduction, he didn't reply to me as expected. Instead, he spoke to father.

"...Hey, Sam, you're son is too polite!"

"Hahaha, you're right! I didn't expect him to introduce himself like that, James. I suppose it was my fault since I didn't tell him how close we are..." said father.

Continuing, father said, "Anyway, Austin, you don't have to be so polite to him. We've been friends since we were children."

"Yes, father."

After a few more minutes of talking, Archduke Lawdwin said, "Go on now, you should take the opportunity to meet Eli while you're here."

After walking for a while and asking a few servants, I found out that my fianceé likes walking around the courtyard whenever she's not reading books.

While I was walking around the courtyard, I saw a little girl with wavy pink hair and sharp golden eyes around my age with a look of pure despair.

I was surprised when she suddenly stood up and shouted, "Why did I have to reincarnate as the villainess of an otome game!?"

Apparently, this girl is my fianceé.
