Chapter 9:Trouble with Goblin Tribe

Murmur! Murmur! Murmur!

Jamie's eyes were fixated on some wolf's as they were talking about something quite troubling.Jamie understood that whatever they were discussing needs to be solved by him as he's the head of the tribe besides he must disentangle them from whatever problems they were facing.

What seems to be the issue my dear tribe people you can enunciate to me to lighten up your minds.After hearing this some of the wolf's spoke up about recent problems with goblins.As they explained everything to Jamie he assured them he will solve it by hook or by crook but on the inside, he felt a spark of doubt wrapping him up.The doubt he felt was whether he could meet the expectation of the people of his tribe or not.Jamie shook his head laid on his back and placed his left hand on his chest and murmured All is Well! All is well!.

Fear noticed Jamie being bothered and approached Jamie to tell him to rely on his aid if required.I'm okay,I just chanted the three magical words to ease my mind, said Jamie with a strong resolute."Ok,I'll still help you, rely on me as a friend",said fear with a reliable tone.

Jamie stood up and howled to catch the attention of other wolves.As the other wolf's looked at Jamie, Jamie declared that the problem will be solved so everyone can rest assured and enjoy the night.Listening to Jamie's speech every wolf howled together to express their trust in him.The night passed by and the next day 10 goblins came to interrogate the wolves about last nights hullabaloo.

How did they know about the feast of last night fear?,asked Jamie."Well the thing is the tribe of the goblins are pretty nearby so last nights hoo-ha was audible from their grounds".Oh! I see!,said Jamie nodding his head."So listen now wolf's our Lord is waiting for your contribution,don't forget about that", yelled one of the Goblins.Jamie told the wolf's to make way for him to speak with the Goblins.As Jamie walked nearer to the Goblins they were terrified of Jamie seeing his actual size.

"Who are you?,We didn't know that someone like you existed among the wolf's,Why were you hiding him from us?, yelled the Goblin as he took a deep gulp of saliva.I recently became their Lord, they didn't conceal me from your species,said Jamie with a confident filled voice."Whatever don't forget about the contribution all of you!", saying this the Goblin's left.

Gather all the finest warriors we have fear,I'll go visit the Goblin Lord and convey my message to him loud and clear, said Jamie as he reverted to his original size.

After some time fear gathered up all the finest warriors they had among the wolf's and told them to prepare for the meeting of their lord with Goblin Lord and die fighting if necessary.Don't worry I'm not going to fight with them, said Jamie with an elegant voice."Still one should always prepare for the worst my Lord", said fear with a deep voice.I get what you're trying to say but I'll try my best to avoid war and conflict.

Not so long they set out for the Goblins tribe Jamie and the Goblin Lord met with one another halfway as the Goblin Lord was also coming to visit him.

"Oh my! Would you look at that what a coincidence you also set out to meet me", said the Goblin Lord with a surprised voice.I also didn't think we would meet halfway on the road, so how are you doing Mr. Goblin Lord."Oh you tell me! my man was in a panic that there was a new species of wolf ruling the wolf's tribe and they wouldn't need to give the contribution so I set out to check the monster with my bare eyes", said the Goblin Lord as he looked keenly on Jamie.I'm the new lord as you can see."The way my man described you I don't think you're the true Wolf Lord".Well sorry about that I'll return to my real size, saying this Jamie took his original form."Well I'm flabbergasted you're truly a monster,I wasn't expecting you to be this big,I'm sorry I take back what I said", said the Goblin Lord as he looked up and down.Oh! Don't mind the details it happens."So why were you coming to my tribe with so many of your man?".The way my man described you I thought a monster as mighty as you why does he need the contributions unless someone is pressuring him to do so."You're both right and wrong, No one is pressuring the mighty Goblin Lord 'Grisha',I can assure you that", said the Goblin Lord with a confident voice.

So are you telling me you're asking for a contribution to boast your mightiness by cornering the weak?, said Jamie as his eyes were throwing daggers at the Goblin Lord's eyes."You know your wording,don't you think it's a bad idea that your insulting me?".No, I don't since I don't think your as mighty as you sound."You bastard! how dare you speak about mighty 'Grisha' like that?, do you want to bite the big one?", said one of the Goblins aloud."Shut up you! Don't mind him Mr. Wolf Lord but I can say one thing for sure you're going to regret your decision".Don't worry I never regretted anything I did in my life.The Goblin Lord left with his man's.

"Was it the right decision my Lord?,don't get wrong I'm just saying....".Don't worry I won't let the people of the tribe face any kind of danger because of my judgment.Jamie and the wolf's left for the tribe and as they returned all the other wolves were in disarray as they returned so early."Did something happen my Lord?", asked one of the woman wolf.No,nothing happened you can all live a better life now that I'm the new Lord,it's the only thing I can promise you right now.
