Chapter 14:Leisure Time

A new day a new beginning, Jamie stretched his body following up with a big yawn.Srides was looking at the outside world through the window.Jamie was ravenous so he went closer to Srides and barked for food.Srides's mind was fully concentrated on the scenery of the outside world so she didn't hear Jamie's call for food.Jamie then used his paw and started gently tapping on Srides's feet till she noticed.

Srides gave Arnold a chunk of bread to eat along with a bowl of water.Jamie felt like he was acting like a dog and thought maybe the doctor was right after all as he called him doggo.

Later Jamie finished eating and was loitering here and there inside the mansion.Srides was busy making cloth by knitting with her hands.Jamie felt bored and wanted to go out and explore like a free soul.Jamie went closer to Srides and started to continuously tap on her legs gently while looking at the glasses to indicate that he wants to go out.It took Srides some time to understand what Jamie was trying to convey but once she did she stopped knitting and became prepared to go outside.Jamie didn't explore the town so he was kinda excite to see how the people of another world live by.

Srides took a decent amount of money in case she needs it to buy anything Jamie wanted.Since it's Jamie's first time visiting the shops of another world he decided to buy Srides a little something from the shops.

As Jamie walked he noticed the shops were quite similar to the shops of Earth except for one thing.The shops were selling stuffs which the people of Earth would imagine in their wildest dreams.Jamie surveyed different shops and got an idea of which shop was selling what for different needs.Srides brought something to eat and gave half of it to Jamie.After eating bacon loli Jamie was full of pep.

Jamie took his time glimpsing each shops individual items and their quality.One of the shops had beautiful set of earrings and Jamie wanted to buy it for Srides.Jamie bit on Srides's cloth and took her to the shop and showed her the item with his paw."Do you want me to buy it for myself?".Jamie nodded his head and barked."Oh! That's so sweet of you thanks a lot,I'll buy it", said Srides with a grin on her visage.

Jamie's tail started wag itself even though he didn't want it to wag.Srides put the earrings on after buying them and showed them to Jamie.Since the earrings were looking well suited with body features of Srides Jamie felt proud of his decision.Later Srides took Jamie to a place where people played games to earn prizes.Jamie didn't thought such shops would exist in this world like Earth.The shopkeeper was a middle aged woman.Seeing Jamie she came to Srides and told her to participate with Jamie.

The game was simple with few rules.Srides has to choose a few things without Jamie seeing it and if Jamie chooses the same thing they would win a teddy bear.Srides went inside and Choose three items without Jamie seeing it.Later Jamie was called and was told to choose items which was ducksoup for Jamie as he can easily sniff out the items.As Jamie sniffed he couldn't pick up any scents as all of the items had the same scent. Jamie looked at the owner and he saw a distinguished devious smile covering her whole face.

Jamie understood that he was f*cked up as the scents were similar which makes it impossible for him to choose the correct three items chosen by Srides.

As Jamie was about to drop the game he remembered that dogs and wolves have a type of infrared sensor in the tip of their nose which enables them to detect minute changes in temperature.So Jmaie went closer to the items and used his nose to read the temperature changes.After some time Jamie found out the three items Srides choose as the items had some temperature signature left in them.

The owner was shocked that he was able to figure the items out and petted Jamie on the head."Did he choose the wrong items", asked Srides reluctantly."No, he choose all three of them correctly and here you go your teddy bear, saying this the woman handed out a big teddy bear half the size of Jamie's body.Srides petted Jamie and uttered,"Good boy!".Jamie's tail started to wag after hearing that.

As they spent more time visiting the shops of the town they came across a fountain where people were throwing coins in respect of Goddess 'Zirin' and praying for better future.Jamie thought if it was the same goddess who blessed him with the body of a wolf.Jamie didn't wanted any part of praying so he decided not to go but Srides went closer to the fountain and prayed after tossing a coin in the fountain.

Srides looked at Jamie for some time ended her prayer by clapping her hands three times.It was almost time for launch.Srides took Jamie to a restaurant and Jamie sat on the floor but Srides took him in her arms and placed him on the chair of the table.Jamie was given meat stew and Srides ordered a vegan soup for her.

After a while later a man came to their table and asked,"Aren't you the wolf who defeated the Gargantula in the Colosseum"."Yes,he's the one", said Srides.After hearing this many more came to their table and asked Srides how he tamed Jamie an wild powerful wolf."I didn't tame him he was friendly from the beginning", replied Srides."Come on little girl say what you did and we'll go,do you think of us to be fools to believe that he was friendly from the beginning",said one of the man."I'm saying the truth"."Stop lying and tell us what did bitch",saying this a man holded Srides's hair and pulled it tightly,she was getting hurt because of it.Jamie saw this and reverted to his original size which shook the whole restaurant as it was small for his body to fit.The men of the crowd left after seeing Jamie like this.

"Thank you, if you weren't around they would have done something more terrible to me", said Srides while crying like a baby.Jamie shifted to his original size and tapped on Srides's head in a manner of petting her head.Srides took Jamie in her embrace and stayed like this for some time.

As they were ready to leave the restaurant the owner apologized for the trouble they had to face and begged for pardon."Don't worry it's not your fault", said Srides while adjusting her hair.

Jamie visited a lot of place for the day and thought it was time to wrap things up and return home.

Before they went home Jamie played one last game with Srides which was whacking the mole, in their case, it was not a mole they had to whack, it was a magical worm of this world.The prize was a gold-coloured magical fish.Srides won the game and received the fish since they didn't have a aquaria for the fish Srides decided to buy one from a nearby shop.

The visiting of shops ended with a fish and a teddy bear in their hands.
