Cultivation is a way to ascend to immortality.

However, the huge difference of strength between the strongest and weakest affects the natural order.

Hence, nature divides the world into three (plus two) major planes.

The known planes are: Mortal plane, Spiritual plane, Heavenly plane, God plane, and the Devil plane.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

As the name suggests, this is the plane where mortals reside.

Among all the planes, this is the most unique plane despite being the weakest because it consists of numerous worlds, each of infinite size.

Nonetheless, only a few of them are connected to the spiritual plane by leaking qi. The center where this qi is concentrated is the place where civilization that can later ascend thrives.

The world within which the story begins is a cultivation world of the mortal plane.

The orthodox power bloc of this world is divided between five major parties:

The four major sects which have ties to upper plane.

And the Qing Shan imperial family which governs the mortal lands along with their vassals (the eight kingdoms).

Although Qing Shan Empire is the strongest among the five, they give concession to the sects in exchange for receiving backing in the Spiritual plane after their members ascend.

Similarly, there is also the Church of Blood among the unorthodox side which contests itself as the strongest power of the world.

Here, the stages of cultivation can be divided into six stages – Qi Refinement, Foundation Establishment, Free Travel, Broken Sea, Spiritual Core, Spiritual Arrival.

𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

This is the plane where the numerous connected worlds of the mortal plane converge.

The major power bloc of this plane are the four major clans.

After them are the numerous sects who are the branches to their sects of upper plane.

Since spiritual plane acts as a hub to numerous worlds, the culture of this world is very rich with various modes of entertainment.

However, since the technologies of other worlds can be replicated by using their own native methods, the scenery of Spiritual plane is still Xianxia-like.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

The major power blocs of this plane are the seven holy hands which have existed since ancient times.

The four major clans of the spiritual plane usually choose to be a part of the holy lands after ascension.

Notable power blocs after them include local and regional powers like the main branch of Immortal Divinity sect.

𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

A ruined plane where the laws of nature no longer resides.

Hence, this plane is a plane of chaos with no separation between the strongest and weakest.

It was once one of the two strongest planes alongside god plane before waging war and barely winning against it.

The reason behind the war and how they managed to win is unknown.

Rumors exist that some of the top brass are still alive.

Although it cannot be verified because they cannot descend to other planes.

This plane is also connected to all the other planes and is the origin of blood cult which is the largest unorthodox influence in all planes.

𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲

A plane where god-like beings once resided.

They lost the war waged by the Devil Plane and thus, now the said plane no longer exists.
