The truth (part 1)

"1,2,3, OPEN!" They shouted. I opened my eyes and saw. It was a night view of the city, from the top. Tears started flowing. It was my dream to see the city at night, again. I had come once, with my parents, when I was small. From then, I would come here at daytime but not at night.

"Hey, what happened? Are you alright?" Jimin asked, as he was next to me. The others came forward and yoongi told,"Y/n, is it not that good or what?" "Aniyo! It is my favourite spot. Thank you so much. I love this place." I said looking around. "Group hug?" Jim asked. "Sure!" I said, wiping my tears. We hugged together. I enjoyed the site of the lights, shining. It was so wonderful to see. "Y/n!" Yoongi called me. "Are you fine? You look a bit sad? Is everything okay?" He asked, really worried. "Nothing. I'm totally fine. Just memories about my parents and me. I used to come here with them, when I was small. After that, I used to come only at day. Thanks to you guys, for bringing me here. It means a lot." I said, with a smile.

"I don't want to disturb you. But I came to tell you that we'll be staying here, at this place for today. We've got tents. I've informed the manager also. You can enjoy this day here." He said, showing his gummy smile.

"Wait! Really, but why?" I asked, doubtfully. "Simply. We also wanted to spend more time with you. So.." He said. "Okay. Sure. If you need help...." before I could finish, he cut my sentence. "No! I mean we can take care of it." He said. "Okay!" Then he left.

Members POV

We finished our shooting and headed to a pizza shop. Y/n asked us to go while she went somewhere. We went in and settled down. We talked for sometime, and saw y/n coming in. She came and said us to continue. She went to the counter and bought three pizzas and went out again.

Then Mia interrupted us. "Guys, do you know, tomorrow's y/n birthday." As she said, everyone got shocked. "Jinjja!" Hoseok asked. "Yeah. But she hasn't celebrated her birthday, for the past few years. She has never told me the reason, too." She said, feeling worried about her. "Why not we surprise her?" I asked. "Namjoon hyung, but it's too late to do anything now." Jungkook said, pouting. "Why not take her to her favourite spot, let's stay there and surprise her at midnight." I said. "I'll call the staff and tell them to bring tents and required food. And I know the best spot, she'll love." Jimin said, standing up to make the call. I nodded my head in agreement. After Jimin informed, we went out to see where y/m was. E was sitting with a women, who had two kids. She was so kind to them. She gave them food and turned back. She got surprised seeing us. We all were astonished by her actions.

She asked where's next. Then Jimin said he knew one, which we all knew. Then we left and drove to the spot.

Y/n POV

I didn't feel like sleeping nor eating. There was bench near by and I sat there. It was almost 11:00. The air kept me cool and energetic. I couldn't keep my eyes off the view.

Tomorrow, is the day the tragic happened. I wanna forget about, but I couldn't. I thought of telling it to Jimin, tomorrow. I wasn't sure yet whether to tell or not. Cause he cares a lot for me and I don't want it to affect his career.

It was almost 11:55. I couldn't even sleep, thinking about the accident. I looked up and tears started flowing. I couldn't stop them, but only wipe them off my face.

While I was looking up, I felt some light near me. I turned my head and saw, there were 8 people standing in front of me, with a cake in their hand. I was confused. "Guys, is there anything special today?" I asked. They didn't answer me. I went near to see what was wrong. Suddenly they started singing,"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JIMIN AND Y/N. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU." The lights were on. I saw everyone with a smile, except Jimin in shock. "Wait! What?" I asked, cause I probably don't remember this day as my birthday. It was my parents death anniversary.

"Happy birthday, y/n and Jimin." They said together. "Guys?! But I don't celebrate my birthday." I said, with tears in my face. "Hey, I everything alright? Is there something?" Taehyung asked worried. "YES! There is something." I shouted. "Then tell us." Jin asked, calmly. "I don't celebrate my birthday, cause....cause!" I couldn't tell. I didn't want them to feel they hurt my feelings. I didn't want anyone to know. I ran away from there, wiping my tears, which were flowing even more.

Jimin's POV

We prepared a cake for y/n's birthday. We went near her. She looked confused and came near us. Then we started singing happy birthday. When the members said my name, I forgot my birthday was also today. I was so much focused in her birthday.

She looked confused still. Tears started flowing from her eyes. I thought they were tears of joy. But no, they were tears of sadness. Suddenly she said that she doesn't celebrate her birthday. She was still crying. Taehyung then asked if there was anything wrong. She shouted that there was something wrong. Jin hyung asked what it was. She replied,"I don't celebrate my birthday, cause....cause....." There was something. She ran away from the place. "Hyung, I'll go check on her." I said and ran after her, before I could get an answer.

Y/n POV

I ran as fast as I could and went where my feet ran. I stopped for a second at a place. It showed a clear view of the sky. I shouted,"WHY??! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ME ON THIS SPECIAL DAY??! TELL ME,WHY? WHY?" I cried and kneeled down to the ground.

I felt someone near me. I knew who it was. I could hear his footsteps coming near me. He touched my shoulder. I automatically, hugged him. He hugged me back. "I should have said it to you that day. I can't keep it anymore. I need to spill it out. It is hurting me, from the start." I said, crying under his arms.
