At the park

"Catch that guy." I shouted.

Jimin and a few people ran behind him and caught him. I carried the child and went over to him.

"Who are you?" I asked him.

"What did you run away when I saw you?"

He didn't respond anything.

"Are you gonna tell yourself or wanna get beat up?"

"I-I'm Dan." He said.

"Is this your kid?" I asked.

"No."

"If not your kid, why were you standing in the group? And why did you run?"

"I-I..... he's my kid." He said.

"Then why did you leave him?"

"Cause.. cause I don't have enough money to look after him. I can't afford to buy basic necessities for him. I don't want him to live like that." He said.

"So, you don't leave your kid here. Sir, sorry for my behaviour before but please listen to me." I said and asked them to leave him.

"Sir, if he grows up he needs someone to tell him good and bad things. He needs someone to guide him. Give him a father figure and a mother figure. Growing a child is such a great thing. Sir, just take him home. I'll give you the money required, I'll give you a better job. He can bring you happiness one day." I said.

"You're right. He needs a father figure. I need to take care of him. Thank you so much." He said and took his child.

"Sir, here. Take this as a gift from me." I said and handed him a check of 1 lakh.

"I don't know how to thank you."

"It's ok sir. Take care and if anything you can call me." I said and handed my visiting card.

"Thank you so much." He said and left.

"Thank you for your time. You may take a leave." I said and walked off.

I returned back cause I forgot I came with Jimin.

"Sorry, I left you here." I said.

"It's ok. Come let's go." He said and we walked.

"Excuse me." Someone called us.

"Yes? Any help I could do?" I asked him.

"Your speech was really good." He said.

"That's nothing."

"Anyways, I'm Hwan." He stretched his hand out.

"I'm y/n and this is Jimin. Nice to meet you." I said and shook his hand.

"Are you free this weekend?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"How about we go for dinner?"

"Sure."

"Great. Here's my number. See you." He handed a card and left.

"Excuse me? Am I invisible?" Jimin asked.

"Sorry, let's go." I said.

Jimin's POV

We were going back when some guy called us. He introduced him to y/n and asked her out for dinner.

My heart ached. But why? If she's happy about it, I too should be happy for her.

I started having a feeling. A different feeling with her.

He gave his cared and left. I kept looking at her. I couldn't take my freaking eyes off her.

"Hello, Jimin?" She called me.

"Y-yes."

"Come with me." She said and pulled my hand.

Y/n's POV

I saw something and dragged Jimin with me.

"Jimin, look at those squirrels. They're so cute." I said.

"And they're also chasing around like us." He said and put his hand around my shoulder.

"Come on." I said hit him.

"Look at the bird. They're close enough together." I said.

"That also can be us." He said and we laughed.

"Tell one. Who would we be?"

"The squirrel I guess. Cause I'll be running around you." He said.

"What about you?"

"The birds. They're so close to each other. And so are we. I like the closeness between us. Our duo should never get separated by anyone. We'll always stay close to each other." I said.

I hugged him out of nowhere. He hugged me back.

"Let's get going. They might be

waiting for us." I said and we went.

"Where have you been? Did you find the kids parents?" Mia asked.

"We just went for a walk. And yes, we did find his parents." I said.

"Lets look around." Hoseok oppa said.

We all nodded and walked.

It was almost 7.00. I felt cold. And I forgot my jacket. It felt a bit ok.

"Y/n, come with me." Jimin whispered and took me somewhere.

"Y/n, close your eyes." I did as he said.

He took me some distance.

"Now, open."

I opened my eyes and saw lots of fireflies. They were flying by the pond.

"Wow! This is so amazing." I said and walked forward.

I felt cold and rubbed my arms so I could feel warm.

"Wear this." He handed me a shawl.

"What about you? You'll feel even cold, then if something happens to you, I'm dead." I said and gave it to him.

"Let's share it. You remember that time."

"I do remember that time very well." I said and laughed remembering it.

"We both won't feel cold." He wrapped it around him and then he stood behind me and wrapped me with his arms.

"You feel warm now?" He asked softly. I just nodded and enjoyed the beautiful view.

The bright moon, dark sky, fireflies, pond, and Jimin, it just was so mesmerising and wonderful.

He placed his chin on my shoulder and said,

"Are you hungry?"

"Not anymore." I said and kept looking at the fireflies.

He stood there in the same position. And I didn't feel like refusing also.

Being with him makes me feel happy, energetic, comfortable, protected, safe and a lot more.

I did have feelings for him back then, but now I don't know do I still have or not.

We are still pretty close. Just like old times. My heart doesn't know the right path yet.

I gave him a glance and looked back front.

"Why did you look at me like that?" He asked.

"Nothing. You're just...." I paused.

"I'm what?" He asked.

"You're full of surprises. I mean, everyday there's something from you. How do you just do it?"

"I don't do anything. While coming, I saw fireflies. I know you love them, so I brought you here." He said and smiled.

"Want me to believe it? Ok." I said and smiled.

"Come on. It's true. I'm not lying." He whined.

"Ok." I said.

"Jimin? Y/n?" Jin oppa shouted. It looked like they were searching for us.

"We better head there." I said and we went towards Jin oppa.

"Where were you both? I thought, we lost you." He asked worried.

"Sorry oppa. Next time I'll let you know and go." I said.

"It's getting late. We better head home." Namjoon oppa said.

We nodded and drove to the dorm.

*at the dorm

Jin oppa was at the kitchen, making dinner. I and Mia offered to help him but he refused.

The boys were watching their music videos, and check if they had any flaws.

"Foods ready. Come up fast." I said and put them on the table.

They all gathered and we started eating.

We talked about their music videos and some other things.

It was 9.00, so we headed to bed cause we had tight schedule tomorrow.
