An Intense Moment

June took a step forward Sushi as they sat side by side on the sand, her hand meeting his as they talked and enjoyed the enchanted ambiance. Sushi felt a chill go up his spine from her soft touch, and he forgot he was even there. She smiled gently and asked the question that had been on her mind.

"You..."You asked me who Sushi is the other day. Do you know her?", her voice barely audible above a whisper in the quiet night air.

June tried to recall something specific about that name, saying, "I don't know anyone but it felt like I knew that name from my past, but don't remember exactly."

Sushi said, "Then why did you ask me?".

"Ignore me. How about you, Chloe? Are you unaware of her identity? "Are you unfamiliar with her?" June inquired, hoping for a response from the sushi.

This question made Sushi so tense that she couldn't find an answer when he looked for it..

"All right, forget that. I didn't get a chance to ask you properly the other day at work because of the chaos, but why did you happen to come that day? And if my memory serves me well, you were in the line for internship interviews. Why did you go there?", June enquired.

June continued, "I tried to rule out some possibilities and gave it some thought. However, if you attended the interview for an internship, you don't require that because you completed a doctorate abroad and worked on numerous well-known projects. I read every article and interview you posted. In fact, you have the potential to directly take over your dad's business and develop it as a solid enterprise." June expressed that he encourages her and has big expectations for her.

Sushi nodded, understanding June's concern, and explained. In actuality, there was an unexpected emergency. My friend Huan and his teammate had to give a presentation on their idea but she got stuck in an emergency situation. "That's why I came that day, then," she clarified, hoping to dispel any lingering confusion.

June said, realizing everything, "Oh that's the behind reason where you pretended to be Sushi?"

"Sushi?" she asked, casting another glance at him and wondering why he kept bringing up my name.

Grinning, he said, "I actually looked up submitted proposals under Huan's name and saw that there was a name Sushi that sounded familiar. That's the reason I asked if you know her?"

"Sushi felt a wave of relief wash over her, realizing that his question was innocent and he was unaware of anything. She breathed a silent sigh of relief.

"I hate those who lie, cheat, and control without feeling guilty. Such people have no place in my life," June exclaimed, his words furious with a voice full of noticeable hatred.

With every word June spoke, Sushi's heart got heavier, if she were the one he was talking about precisely. She was troubled by guilt and considered making a confession.

"But Chloe, I know you're too innocent and pure to ever do that. No one could hurt you. June glanced at her with love and passion, saying, "That's one of the reasons I cherish you."

"Do you remember in our childhood, we went outside to play on a wet afternoon? Even though you slipped and fell yourself, you remained persistent, using your shirt to shield the shivering cat from the rain.", june emphasizing Chloe's selflessness and pure-hearted nature.

June said, "Maybe that was the first time I felt you.." as he starred at the sushi with such tenderness in his eyes.

June experienced a rush of emotions so intense that he was unable to control them. His heart thumping thumping thumping with love and need as he pulled Sushi close, he suddenly leaned in and pressed his lips against hers in a sudden, passionate kiss. It was a declaration of all the love and adoration he had harbored for her over the years, finally set free in an electrifying moment of intimacy. At first, Sushi was pleasantly surprised but as she sank into June's embrace, she felt the depth of his emotions over her, igniting a spark of reciprocated desire that had long been dormant.

Lost in their own reverie, they were unable to get rid of the memory of their moment together. June, In the meantime, couldn't help but chuckle to himself as he again kissed her in his thoughts.
