CHAPTER 67: HIT BY A BENZ.
The driver was very keen when he halted the benz uprabtly.He got outside the car to check on the lady who was standing like a lifeless person.
When Ivana saw that the car was almost hitting her. She stood and fell in a daze, her hormones refused to trigger so she found herself standing still ready to die. She closed her eyes tightly as she waited for the pain.
Someone grabbed her from behind as he moved her from the road. Then she heard "are you okay, why are you not being careful?"
'That voice, that voice is too familiar ....ooh no he should not be the one, let be someone else please' she didn't want to open her eyes and look at the person who was holding her still.
To confirm that the lady was still fine, the man shakes her while saying,"are you okay,should l take you to hospital?". He repeated the question as worry was visible in his face.
Not believe her ears, she opened her eyes as she turned to confirm that indeed the person that's holding her is indeed him. She was surprised as she moved too steps back and rubbed her eyes vigorously. She thought her eyes might be playing tricks to her.
The guy was surprised when Ivana turned to look at him. He wanted to get hold of her and embrace her tightly in his broad chest. Ooh how he had missed her so much. He found himself moving to where she was standing as his eyes were fixed on her. Like someone who have been hypotinized. She stood still.
Sam? She called his name in a very faint voice. But atleast she was able to find her voice again and said. "What are you doing here?"
"Ivana,he smiled, can...can..l hug you? he struggled to form a sentence. Before Ivana could respond to his questions. He pulled her into a tight embrace,but after some minutes he left her as she didn't hug him back.
"Sorry l..l acted out of emotions , l am sorry Ivana" he apologized. Then looked sideways to avoid her eye contact with him. She didn't want him to feel bad so she decided to ask him.
"Sam it's good to see you what are you doing here?"
"Yea,you look gorgeous,l am just roaming around and you?...by the way congratulations on your marriage,...l heard that...
"Don't even start ...she cut him off,"l thought you went abroad to advance your studies like doing masters what happened?..nice car by the way.
"Ooh thanks, actually l am the new branch manager of African development bank" he said.
"Can l treat you for a coffee that's if you have time,l want to catch up with you." She wanted to decline his offer but she couldn't she found herself agreeing.

Sam as he always introduces himself was Ivana's first lover. They have been friends since highschool. Samuel used to restrain his feelings towards her because he didn't know if she lives him back in secondary school. When they sat for the national examination and passed. They did celebrate for their achievement and celebrated more when they realised that they were joining same university and same course.
During their first year in campus that's when Samuel.gained courage and proposed to her over a romantic dinner to be his girlfriend. She was very happy as they confessed their feelings to each other.
They we're very loyal to each other and promised each other that they will practice chastity and sanity to their bodies. They promised to taste the forbidden fruit on their honeymoon in an island to be presiece they choose Seychelles to be their honeymoon destination.
If Samuel knew that things will turn out differently, he could have tasted the forbidden fruit.
