CHAPTER 64: WHAT HAPPENED?

"Ma'am thank God you are back,l overhead Sir and Madam quarrell....the maid didn't finish her sentence as Mish run inside the house leaving her talking to her shadow.

As she was about to climb the stairs, she saw her mother coming down from the bedroom. She looked angry. Mish wanted to ask her what's wrong ,she got stopped before opening her mouth.

"Don't ask me anything,you can go upstairs and ask him he is upstairs" she said.

She was dumbstruckened with her statement leaving her standing like a statue. 'what is really happening in this house? One moment you are okay whith each other the other moment you are not. In the morning l left mum in a good mood but now she is in a bad mood' her head was in a whirlpool of thoughts.

She wanted to move forward to go and check on the her dad but her legs seemed so heavy to be lifted off from the floor. Her mum has drained off the energy to proceed she didn't know that her mother can hide some information from her. Whenever she went through any challenges Mish was the first one to know about what is bothering her.

Now it is different, since morning her mother have been avoid talking about anything that might make her spill the truth. Now she has transferred her anger from.somewherr else to her. That is a clear sign that indeed her mother is going through a rough time.

Although in the morning, she felt that something is amiss with her mother but after talking with her,, she realized hat she is fine the way she was talking to her. She stopped feeling paranoid.

As she sat there  thinking on what to do next ,she heard footsteps on the stairs. She didn't turn to look who was coming downstairs. She already know the person. She composed herself as she sat straight in the chair and cleared the throat. She deserves to know what is going on.

"Princess, he called as he arrived where she was seated. Mish looked at him with the eyes that says 'you better tell me the truth dad. He cleared his throat and sat beside her.

"Princess your mother had told me that you found me yesterday outside drunk? What happened?" he asked.

Mish looked at him with disgust by giving him a cold shoulder. She can't believe her dad is asking her that instead of telling her. 'Dont play with my mind dad

"You should be the one answering that dad?! How am l supposed to know that?, yes l found you lying down yesterday near the gate". She looked at him demanding an explanation but received none.

"Then ? Her father wanted her to continue.

"You kept on talking about something that l couldn't understand,do you care to explain them dad. Even if  you we're very drink you were serious when mentioning them repeatedly"

Mr Mukhongo hung his head low as he looked down, he had trouble maintaining eye contact with her daughter. He was embarrassed that he puked on himself in the presence of two women he valued and respected most. What happened,he didn't understand or figure out.

"What did l say yesterday princess?" He asked.

"Dad, you kept on saying " she is dangerous....we need to save the company" who is this she, dad? And what happened to the company?" Do you have another woman aside from mum?

"Stop pluffing out nonsense, Mish how can you say like that, l love your mother and you, you are the only women in my life and also Ivana. I have only three important women in my life." He paused as he looked at her daughter then said.

"I don't remember saying those words Mish" he said.

" Ofcouse dad ,how can you remember when you were drunk?. In my opinion dad,l think their is something going on in the company. And your three women are in the dark you night to take us to the light dad. She stood up and left him in thougts.

'what is happening?,Why is everyone telling me what l don't know. I need to ask my driver, how can   he leave me out of nowhere, now l don't understand what is going on with me'.

He walked outside in search of his driver Simiyu. He was the only hope now, for him.to know what happened. Luckily he found him washing the vehicles.

"Boss s you want to go somewhere, just a minute l have finished, hope you are not in the hurry." He said in hurry. He didn't want to annoy his boos ,he might suck him yet that was the only source of his livelihood.

"No need to worry, l am here to ask you about something crucial about yesterday" he pulled him so that they stand behind the private van.

"What happened yesterday l dony remember anything, do you know what happened to me?"

"Boss l left you in the office after you told me to leave with the car because you have somewhere to go and you will be picked up,l really don't know what happened."Simiyu said.

"You better be telling the truth if l find out that you are being dishonest, don't blame me" he warned him.plodes

"I am telling the truth boss, how can l lie to you, don't suck me please" he pleaded. Boss..if...you don't mind what happened" he foolishly asked.

"Simiyu!mind your business,don't mendle in other people's business. This remains between us always wherever we talk, now go back to your work"

Back in the house,Mish was bored with everything around her,she really wanted someone to talk to before her head explodes with thoughts. The only person she wished to talk to was either her mother or her sister Ivana.

Her mother was busy dealing with her own thoughts in the guest room. Paul can't allow Ivana to come back to the mansion.
