CHAPTER 51:THE WILL.
It have been a month now, the board of members have been having meetings. They wanted to have a new CEO, since the death of Mr Bombwe. An interim CEO didn't have an absolute power about the well-being of the company. So now the board decided to let the will be read to the family of Mr Bombwe.
Since Ivana was the only heir to the Company,her Uncle Mr Bombwe adviced her that the will should be read in their mansion not her matrimonial home. She agreed because she knew that her uncle know what is the best for them as a family.
What she didn't know is that her uncle didn't want their vicious plan to be unfolded infrony of the family members and also since he was having an affair with her mother in-law, he didn't want the cat to be out of the bag before he achieves what he wants.
Paul decided to accompany his wife, because they were married before the death of Ivana's family. So that makes him a family that is supposed to be present when the will is read. Also he wanted to support his wife in everything since he has not been a good husband to her back then.
So they prepared themselves and left and right o'clock in the morning. Mrs Wechuli didn't want her son to go with her, but figuring out how sturbon Paul can be sometimes decided not to persuade her.
They left in a blue Maybach car, after thirty minutes of driving they arrived at Ivana's mansion.Luckily they found everybody seated they have been waiting for them. Even Lawyer Sifuna was present, the seating room was quite.
The lawyer was seating alone in a different couch facing, Mr Mukhongo and his wife,Mish sat on a different seat beside her mother. Ivana looked across the seating room he decided to seat with her husband on a two seater couch.
She was feeling anxious and at the same time tensed up she didn't know what her dad has written in the will. Since her father never mentioned anything concerning the will. Mr Bombwe was a very private person,sometimes he used to tell her daughter not to worry. She should only worry when her bank account figure has decreased from six figures to give figures.
No one dared to talk as everybody was busy doing nothing. Ivana decided to strike a conversation.
"We are sorry we come late, and also l didn't great you guys because the mood of the room was chill" she said.
Mish was replied her cousin.
"It's fine siz, we understand" she said.
Mr Mukhongo, Mish's father cleared his throat as he spoke. "I think the most awaited person have arrived, we can go down to business now Mr lawyer" he lifted his head and looked at the lawyer.
"Ooh yes, you must be Ivana Venus Bombwe right" the lawyer looked at Ivana.
She nodded in response at that time she felt anxious, she fidgeted in the seat, small droplets of sweat were visible on her forehead, her palms were clammy as she rubbed them together like someone who is feeling cold.
Paul got hold of her palm as he squeezed in his, looked direct in her eyes assuring her that Everything is fine.
Mish saw the way Ivana was behaving and thought that something might be wrong. She thought that Ivana might be aware of what is contained in the will that's why she is unsettled.
She moved where Ivana was and stood beside her,as she massaged her shoulders to make her relax.
