CHAPTER 31: I LOVE YOU
" Paul l told you to get up that time you refused to listen to me. I told you to put down and now look we are trending".
"Hahaaa, actually what's wrong with that,l was showing love to my wifey. He stretched out his hand and got hold of her hand. He looked directly in her eyes and said. " I don't know if you believe me or not,but I love you Ivana. Hope you give me a chance to prove it.
She looked up through her eye lashes as she avoided eye contact with him she was shy. How could she say no when he was looking at her with those eyes. A slight close-lipped smile, an enigmatic smile and one raised eyebrow. He was more than charming. He continued holding her hand as he caressed her palm with the thumb. With that he was expecting her to say something atleast.He doesn't want it to be one sided relationship. He had an expectat gaze in his eyes.
"It's okay Paul we can try.... let us give it a try" she said.
'Just a try! You are already married to me Ivana for Gods sake you don't love me yet? Anyway l will make you fall in love with me head over heal Ivana!' he thought.
"Do you want us to continue seating here?, Do you want something else,l can buy you anything you want,just say it" Paul told his wife.
"No am already full Paul, am fine" she answered. 'You think you will win me with your money?,for your information my account is loaded fool' she smirked as she thought.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something in my face? " Paul asked his wife. Let's go if there is nothing left hunny, it's getting late and cold l don't want you catching a cold flue."
They walked towards where they have parked their car. They entered and Paul accelerated it to their home. Throughout the journey they didn't converse much. Ivana had agreed to with Pauline there house after Paul gave her an excuse of his mother will not be there she is going for a pool party and he will be alone in that mansion.
Although it was not that convincing,Ivana had no choice but to agree so that their relationship can work. She didn't want to doubt him now. Ivana texted Mish informing her that she is not coming back she will be spending a night in Paul's house.
They arrived when Mrs Wechuli was almost done with her make over.
"Oooh thank God you are here,how do l look,you know l should look appealing so that l sign many contract. I want to expand my business".
"You good mum" Paul said.
"Just good?" Mrs Wechuli asked.
"You are gorgeous mum,where are you going, can l accompany you?" Ivana joked .
"Thank you dear,you can join me l will be delighted to go with you" Mrs Wechuli said.
" No mum l was just joking, enjoy the party and take care
And with that Mrs Wechuli left with her driver in a jaguar as Paul and Ivana walked inside the house hand in hand.
