CHAPTER 252:HALF BROTHER.
Ivana's boys were growing very first and they were of good health. She can't believe that her boys were almost in wining age. She was very grateful that she was able to hide everything, especially her pregnancy journey from the media. Even her mother inlaw and her ex-husband have no idea that Ivana have kids now.
Sammy have been of good help as he visits them twice a week just to check on them. Something that Ivana appreciated, he was someone who knows to stay in his lanes. He doesn't ask Ivana about the father of the baby neither does he make sexual or romance advances to her.
Milka had resumed working in the fashion store with the girls, that is Nekesa,Gloria and Stacy. She always come to Alika apartments on Friday to spend the weekend with Ivana. Ever since Ivana gave birth and asked her to move in Alika apartment so that she can help her boss in taking care if the babies. She have grown so fond of them and that's why she asked Ivana if she can be coming on weekends.
The fashion store have started to grow big and be known to people as everyday they were receiving new customers and orders. Although Ivana have not fully resumed working, she makes sure that the orders done have been delivered on time. Most of the referrals were from Lily the governor's daughter whom Ivana designed her wedding evening gown that most people liked and evied. Only to find out that her gown was customized so no one else can be made a gown like hers.
So Lily was playing a role in publicizing I abas fashion store by reffering her friends and people who were enquiring about her gown to Ivana's store.
Life in prison continued to be very hard and difficult as Mr Mukhongo was being miss treated by the General. The case in court was decided that he was guilty all the evidence proofed that he was the one who killed his wife Mrs Elizabeth Mukhongo.
Mish was very dissapointed her father, she was so angry at him but the end she decided to support him in journey in the prison. She decided that she will be there for him because if she won't then who will?
The work in the company was going on very well, everything was fine but the position of the chairman was vacant. Mish told Ivaba that since she was educated and a graduate of economics she wanted her to try applying for that position.
Ivana told her that she was not interested, she can't working the same company with her mother in law. Second thing she was not comfortable being a chairman knowing very well that she owns the company. To make Mish to stop pressurizing her about the position, Ivana told her that she have alot of money that will last her for all the years she will have to live in this earth.
What surprised Mish was the resemblance between their company driver and her dad. Everytime she pbef into each other, she will see the young version of her father. She was very scared with the possibility that John might be her step brother. So she had decided that she will have to face him and ask him everything she is thinking.
So one day in the afternoon, after they have eaten lunch. The workers always have thirty minutes to relax before they resume their work. So Mish had the opportunity to approach their company driver who was chilling out with his fellow driver.
"Hey good afternoon guys can I have a short moment with you," Mish said pointing at John.
"Me?" John asked as he pointed to himself. He was surprised why the chairman daughter wanted to speak to him. The first thing that come into his mind was having committed a mistake.
Mish wanted to roll her eyes bit she remembered she needed to behave well because she wanted to strike a conversation that will make them know each other better.
"Yes please I want to talk to you," she said politely.
The politeness that she was not used to using it, actually she doesn't remember the last time she was polite to a person.
"Why ma'am have I done a mistake?" John asked as he stood up rubbing his hands together as he walked to where Mish was standing. Afew steps from where they were. Mish noticed his nervousness so she had to chuckle to make him at ease.
"Haha,hey you don't have to be nervous, I won't eat you. Actuay you are not at wrong, I just want to ask you something personal," Mish started as they walked to another bench.
"Yes what is it ma'am?"
"Do you have aotive in this company?" Mish asked.
"Huh? What do you mean ma'am I don't understand you," John said surprised.
"I know you know what I mean, but I will elaborate it to you. Do you have some hidden motive in this company like something you want to achieve?"
"No, I just came here to work like any other person. I don't have anything hidden ma'am. I have been jobless for almost four years so that's why I come here to apply for driving position as that's what I trained ma'am," John said.
"Okay I will go straight to the point, is the ex-chairman of this house your father?"
"No! He is your father why should he be my father. I don't know that man personally," John groused.
"Really? so you are telling me that your resemblance is just a coincidence?" Mish asked trying to maintain her tone.
"Me? why should I resemble him yet he is not my father? Although my father is already death but we might be related you know....
"I didn't say that you should explain to me everything. I just wanted to know if I have a half brother or not. But I am grateful that I don't have a half brother," Mish said as she walked away.
But we are cousin, I am still your brother Mish, I wish I had the courage to tell you all this. Why did I lie to you," John murmured to himself as he looked at Mish back.
